I love how Alfred is so tender to his mate. also he knows her Dad and that warrior don't have good intentions and that she is scared of them. so as a good mate, he protects her. actually, that warrior deserves death for forcing himself on her without her consent. for lying and causing her beating that almost killed her

I love the way Alfred treats his mate. Vanessa has been through so much in her 18 years of age, she deserves being treated the way Alfred has been caring for her. She is beginning to trust him so I see them as a very strong couple. Veronica is probably going to continue her hatred for Vanessa so I am looking forward to her getting the ultimate punishment. Looking forward to reading more of this delightful book.
