Kadian Hayes was the only grandchild in the Hayes family. She was never welcomed or recognized as such until the death of her mother when she was nine years old. Her grandfather was a billionaire who ruled his family with an iron fist. He was a tyrant who always got what he wanted without exception. When Kadian was twenty one she came home for summer break from college and found out that her grandfather had arranged a marriage for her to his business partner's grandson Justin. Kadian refused to participate in such a barbaric custom and all hell broke loose in the Hayes family. Justin was a spoiled, arrogant, disrespectful rich kid who thought he was doing her a favor by agreeing to marry her. They instantly butted heads. He planned to move his current girlfriend into their marital home after the wedding.
