Connor looked up at me then, his eyes burning with an intense amber fire. "Say it again," he commanded, pressing one thick finger slowly inside me. "My name."
"Connor," I repeated, the word catching in my throat as he curled his finger, making stars burst behind my eyelids. "Please."
I, the princess of the vampire court, was begging a werewolf. The thought should have horrified me, but as he added a second finger alongside the first, stretching me deliciously, shame was the furthest thing from my mind.
He crawled up my body, his movements fluid and predatory, his erection pressing hard against my thigh. I reached between us, wrapping my fingers around his length, feeling him pulse in my grip. His breath hissed between his teeth, his forehead dropping to rest against mine.
"I've imagined this," he confessed roughly as my hand stroked him, "but reality puts fantasy to shame."
I guided him to my entrance, my body trembling with anticipation. "Show me," I whispered, abandoning the last of my reservations. "Show me what you've imagined."

Princess Elizabeth Blackwood is the perfect vampire royalty: cold, composed, and dutiful. For three centuries, she has played the political game, preparing for a loveless marriage to strengthen her family's bloodline. But everything changes when the Blood Moon approaches and Alpha Connor, the leader of the enemy Werewolf pack, crashes her ball with a shocking declaration: they are Fated Mates.
Thrust into a conflict that threatens the fragile peace between their species, Elizabeth must choose between her duty to her people and the undeniable, forbidden pull towards the wolf who claims her.
But can a vampire princess and a werewolf alpha truly bridge centuries of animosity, or will their love be the spark that ignites a devastating war?

"Take off your shirt."
Kaelen looked at me from across my room, eyes glowing in the dim light.
"Excuse me?"
"Yesterday you were burning up. Literally. Your skin was hot enough it should've killed you, but here you are."
A smile spread across his face as he pulled off his shirt, revealing defined muscles and skin that seemed to glow with its own light.
"Is this really about science, Annabeth?"
I walked closer, unable to stop myself. I placed my hand on his chest and he tensed under my touch, the heat of his skin burning my fingers.
"Shit," he muttered, voice rough. "Don't do that."
"Why not?"
"Because you don't know what you do to me when you touch me like that." His hands closed into fists at his sides, trembling. "My control is already shit when you're around."
