Savannah stepped forward, her face etched with disgust as her words pierced like spears. The cameras continued to flicker as the reporters waited for what would happened next. Suddenly, a reporter stepped forward.

“Chairwoman Kyle, exactly what crimes are you all accusing the Hawkins of?!”

Savannah glared at her stepfamily, her eyes falling on Richard, a man she once loved as her father, finally glancing back at the reporter.

The room fell silent as the reporters all turned back towards the Hawkins. Refusing to give up, Darma ran in front of Savannah, her eyes and voice feigning pleas.
