Okay, I made it to chapter 50 and I have to say I am disappointed in the way it completely skipped the end scene. 49 left up right before the fight and then thw writer just skipped ahead to the future without writing the fight scene, the reader is instead left with a water down version of "she won and we have made so much progress in 4 years". This story was so full of promise and the writer was decent in her skills but the execution was lacking. The start and stop moments completely felt as if the story line was written out of time from each other and simple on a whim. There were so many details thrown out that could have been developed in the story that the writer just let fall by the wayside and left us wondering. The ex- girlfriend, David's father Devon's father, the step-brother, the back story of the Mom and Dad, what the elders where keeping Secret, the attraction and possibly mating of the two alphas with each other along with Val and so many other details had the makings of a great story. However, the writer threw them out and teased without delivering; I am not sure this book was worth my time. It leaves me sad and annoyed because the writer could have written a really good book. I hope in the future if I ever come across anything else you write, that you do better!!!

I am still not finished with the book, but the chapters are disjointed at times. They imply that certain actions will be taken then there is nothing and we are left hanging. It seems the writer plays with an idea and the trashes it the next time she writes. It is disappointing. Like right now I am where the two mates are supposed to clear up the trouble and the sent Val away, but in the next chapter the basically start off with the two males doing nothing and letting the father/old alpha get more power. Which is weird, because he spoke of banishing the father because he attempted to kill Val. It really did make the two alphas seem weak which may be the reason they could not keep control in the pack. Banishing was a light sentence if you ask me, death would have been more appropriate. If they are the alpha's they should just remove anyone rebelling. Idk, I still waiting to find out about the attraction of the two males, and what this unknown person is doing. It also seems they were going to turn her but that was dropped. And training her seemed to not do anything. And they are always treating her as if she will break. If they want her to be the alpha female you would think all of them would be working towards that. I do like the book, but there are a lot of things I am not understanding about the way it is being written.
