I really really liked this story! i loved how Zeke treated her with respect and as his equal! other wolf stories its always some hot head alpha who tries to control and lower his mate but this story was so good! great job author!

absolutely loved this story although I was hoping in the beginning that Cecil would have escaped. her character turn around was hard for me, but had to tell myself this is an were fic and their biology is hard to fight. she was still a strong female though. I'm sad about her sister, an unsolved mystery there. and sad the Beta died. i was hoping he would have found a mate. I teared up when he died. awesome read!

so I'm confused, I just want to clarify. Several times it is referenced that some wolves are marked... then in chapter 20 (? I think) it is stated that all under 16 and their "females" will be moved to the bunker. Are there other females, or not?

I just wanted to say this one, out of the few I have read so far, has really stuck with me. I don’t even know if I want a sequel now that children are involved lol Zeke and Cecil’s relationship was DIVINE. Although I was frustrated about how the scene with Titus and Lilly was handled by them, I understand the point (being rejected by a mate doesn’t bring out great things, and maybe it would have been an impossible situation to diffuse). I am just sad that, in a world where true mates are so scarce, a pair was lost before they even had each other. I do want more detail on the wars, why all of the females almost disappeared, why the males weren’t inherently trying to protect them (instead holding them prisoner), etc. (prequel?!) During the story, I wanted to know how Serenity escaped her situation! But, that’s just me wanting more from a story I was glued to. I was hoping so badly for a mom/sister reunion with Cecil. Maybe that will come in a sequel 😬 It was really leading to Zeke’s pack controlling the whole continent, and if that’s the case, it’s a safer world for females and more chances for them to meet their true mates and continue the species. Ahhhhh I really loved this one! Thank you to the writer. I am excited to see where you take this story!

It was a really great story! really draws you in and I didn't want to put it down, I loved how the main character is so strong, but also logical and protective. Plus how Serenity really comes out of her shell. My only issue is I wish a better spell checker was used, for instance the work 'preening' was used instead of 'peering' and 'contempt' instead of 'content'. But that's easily solved, especially with such a great story :D
