    d1r8 I love Jessica Hall soI am looking forward to reading all of her books including Hybrid Aria. my very first book I read was His Lost Lycan Luna by Jessica Hall and I couldn’t put it down. I can’t speak enough about her and her talent. She has the ability to make you feel like you are in the story and feeling it as you are reading it. I have never laughed & cried until reading her books.

    d1r8 This is a brilliant book and has about 4 other sequels to it that are equally good. Aria, a hybrid (vampire/werewolf), is regularly severely abused by her step father and always shields her half sister (his bio daughter) from his attacks. When an Alpha smells Aria as his mate he pursues her, protecting her and her step sister from their (step) father, which will lead to a series of very interesting events being unleashed. Book to be absolutely binged before enjoying the sequels.

    I struggled with the characters in the beginning. they both irrit me and I had to take several breaks but I pushed thru. the fact that they could elicit that kind of emotion from me though says that they are decently developed. it got a lot better for me once the action/war stuff started.

    the story started off well but the transitions in between scenes weren’t smooth and didn’t have a great build up, and I felt that Aria who is a pure breed should have had more power and strength instead of being preveived as weak and dependent on Reid. Reid as a character wasn’t that likeable or open minded as I pictured a mate would be. Normally a mated male would priorities their females emotion and happiness above his. But that’s just my perspective.
