So far so good, but I would like to point out the apostrophe in the title doesn’t seem like it quite belongs. “Forbidden Mate’s” formatted as it is currently is a singular but possessive title. If it is “Forbidden Mates” without the apostrophe that is the plural form.

So happy she turned and came back after her death but I am hoping she won’t completely turn dark because of this. I think if she gets her baby back it will help her regain some of her light. She was willing to forgive so much but I understand this being the last straw. Newly turned vampires can’t control their bloodlust so I am thinking that could be part of her current darkness. If she is a witch/vampire hybrid wouldn’t that make her son a witch/vampire/werewolf tribrid?

I just started reading yesterday and I’m so glad that Anystories recommended it to me because I haven’t been able to stop reading! It’s so good; it has become one of my favorites! The one thing I don’t like is how Tobias treats Imogen, but at least he’s making it up to her in a way! Now, back to reading!

I keep wondering why they don't have 'pet' names for each other at this point in their relationship - 'honey, sweetie, love, baby' - and still call each other by their given names. Makes them seem still impersonal to each other leading to thoughts of lack of commitment.

erm... I really like the plot of this story. but a touch of constructive criticism here, a small amount of research would have refined it. formula for example must be made with boiling water then allowed to cool, this is to kill any harmful bacteria that may have gathered on the powder. I have enjoyed the twists and turns in the plot, and am looking forward to seeing what's next. 😊

I’m not surprised she’s letting the darkness take over; I expected it because again it’s all about her selfishness. instead of trying to find a resolution she throws a temper tantrum and is on the verge of killing Theo and thinks it’s perfectly ok. I’m giving it one more chapter before I shelve the book; her character is too annoying to keep reading
