A large black wolf stood on all four paws with its back still towards her. Its massive size towered high, and it turned and glowered her way. Its teeth were bared, but still somehow displayed the twisted smile Jordan frequently wore. Taking a step towards her, he lethally spoke, “Tonight, you’re going to learn firsthand why you never fuck with werewolves.”

Morgan Pierce has always found her way into trouble, and the night of her job’s Halloween party was no different.
