It's definitely a bit disturbing to read the abusive treatment of men and women. However it was the way things were and unquestioned in that era.The emotions of thier characters was excellent writing. This book had it all .Loved the way Vetta found redemption and Danika's compassion,strength and determination are amazing. The writer takes you on a journey into the past that's too exciting to put into words.

OK I can say that it took me a while to read this book. That’s because I couldn’t get past the first couple of chapters; they made me mad. Howerver, I forced myself to keep reading and I am going to say that the story is truly amazing. Some grammatical errors and tense errors but totally worth the read .

i loved this book, what I didn’t understand was the title.. alpha usually is attached to werewolf stories… anyway loved it regardless I was addicted and read it all in 2 days!

this was such an amazing journey, it was such an amazing read. I wanted it to end and not to end at the same time. thank yuu for such a wonderful story

When Remetta told Vetta her nemesis comes it's either Kamara telling Lucien that Vetta knew all along Danika carried his child or Declan cause i feel because of jealousy maybe Vetta had something to do with Lucien thinking he's dead.

This book is really intense in places and difficult to read some of the abuse scenes that are portrayed, but that being said the plot is great and I've really found myself drawn into the story and the characters. Can't wait for part 3!!

Nice storyline, but a lot of word errors which stops good flow. Simple editing and spell check would help. Also, mixing too much current things with historical settings is problematic, such as burgers, electrical shock collars, references to King Kong, those type of things should be left out. Storyline is strong enough without them.
