    So I finished the book and I really like it, but looking back to the start I struggle with Evan in the beginning, there is talk about sex slaves, servicing the unmated, he marks her without permission. Yet later he stands by his rules against rape and marking without consent. She is his mate, he would never be this forceful during the first time. So its almost like a different person...

    *** ⚠️TRIGGER WARNING⚠️ *** Yes I am aware that the author has given us a warning in the description but I feel like I need to say it again for anyone who is planning to read this. Yes the book is well written. It gives a new or different take on the idea of werewolves, mates, pack dynamics when it comes to humans and so forth. That aspect of the book is really good. The ABUSE RAPE & ENSLAVEMENT of human women is NOT beaten around the bush when described. You feel like you are the one it is happening to. If these kinds of trauma have happened to you in real life think long and hard about if you are really ready to face this again. I will tell you this much it is not a single paragraph or even 1 chapter that you can find a way to power through it so please be prepared. I myself am taking it bit by bit so that I do not allow the situation to control me or harm my emotions with my memories. I will keep reading hoping that the one or ones that suffer may get some sort of peace in the end.
