(Strix) I am a created vampire. After years of moving, my vampire family finally settle in a small town. New place, new school, really can't remember how many times I've been to school in my eternal life. Just when I was ready to go to my class, I notice a man in the corner. 

The wind blew just then and I was distracted by the most amazing scent. I had never before smelled anything so … heavenly. It is enticing, pulling me toward its source, the man.

My brother grabbed my arm and started dragging me backwards. “We have to go, now!”
“Why?” I asked, concerned by whatever danger he saw at that moment. “Oh!” I gasped. I am the danger.

(Shawn) As the wind blew towards me, I realized it wasn’t Lycans in the woods, but vampires. And then I caught it, the most amazing scent. MATE! Was my mate being chased by vampires? Surely they would have caught her by now unless they are carrying her. 

I jumped into a nearby tree and watched as three vampires ran through the woods. Three vampires, no humans, no lycans, just vampires. Wait… Does that mean my mate is a vampire?
