I like the storyline so far. It appears that the author’s first language is not English so would probably benefit from some additional editing by someone whose is.

there's no word as "hurted". the past tense and past participle of hurt is still "hurt".

if you are saying "quiet" as in without loud noise. "quite" would be used to say (something) is quite small.
