Dante-AS This story is complete which is a good sign. I usually enjoy a good mafia book with a brutal powerful don for a małe lead completely obsessed with his little lady. But, for obvious reasons, I have been lately avoiding stories with Russian main leads. I find it difficult to sympathise with them.

Dante-AS I haven't actually read a mafia book yet and was looking for one to start sorry to say that the English isn't that great I'm assuming English is not the authors native language these books really do need to be proof read sorry but I won't be reading this one.

Dante-AS Reading the first chapter makes it obviously clear that the author is not a native English speaker. Therefore, I suggest the Grammar Police readers stay away from this book. I liked the fiery spirit where the female lead is introduced and the book sounds interesting. Not my usual genre, but adding it to my library.

Dante-AS I usually enjoy my fair share of "mafia" kind of books. although I am more for the "rough big boss super nice and softie with his woman" kind of development arc 😂 not really into this a-hole thingie. I'm also not a massive fan of arranged marriages or paying for someone else's mistakes, so massively mixed feelings on this

Dante-AS Typically not a fan of mafia type books because of the ruthlessness of the males leads towards the female leads but when the leads evade certain types of dramas to find love however tragic, I accept the happy endings as they come.

Dante-AS I like to read mafia books. It is one of the most interesting and incredible genre of books i love to read. I believe the lady and the guy would find a common ground to settle this love affair even though she doesn't want to be in the marriage.

Dante-AS I like the story. It's interesting. Poor girl, it's not enough that she is treated bad by her father, she ended up in a marriage with her family enemy which treateds her worst then a human being. Hope she can change him and melt his frozen heart.

Dante-AS Mafia story with a strong female lead is a nice change. I consider Mafia men like alpha wolves so I get what I love about werewolf fantasy but based in a quasi reality. lol. Will read first chapters to confirm this to be added to my TBR.

Dante-AS I'm not one to read mafia stories, but this is an exception. I feel it has a deep storyline and great character development. I love reading about strong female leads and when they go against the patriarchy.

Dante-AS I like this story! Yes an exclamation after that sentence. I actually do not read Mafia stories. I hate illegal activities being spotlighted. But I love how strong, smart and resilient the female lead is. Please this story deserves to be portrayed in the best light and need to be proof read.

Dante-AS Not my usual read but I do enjoy a good Mafia story every once in a while. The introduction is interesting but I’m having issues getting invested in the story. I’m still going to add it to my library so I can read the first couple chapters another day when I don’t have a headache to see if I want to keep in my library.

Dante-AS The introduction is very detailed and catches your attention. The storyline is interesting and makes you want to read to find out if they end up falling for each other. Just the interaction between the main characters in the introduction is enough to make you want to see more of them together. I have also looked through the authors other books and they look interesting as well.

Dante-AS so far liking alot this story . I have a weak spot for the name Dante. it is nice to see a female lead who stand up for herself and dose not coward down to a mafia guy. that being said the grammar in this book is sub par.

Dante-AS The writing/style of this story really lacks which is a bummer since it seems to have a solid storyline. I enjoy mafia stories and this one seems unique so I’m going to continue with it but it could definitely use an editor’s touch.

Dante-AS I really struggled with the first chapter. Unfortunately the writing is poorly done. It looks like it may be a translation, and is somewhat redundant, and choppy. I didn’t read long enough to see if the plot line or premise would be interesting.

Dante-AS seems like an interesting story. Enemies to lovers can be done really well or really poorly, depending on how far things go when they are Enemies. However, mafia books aren't really my cup of tea.

Dante-AS I enjoy stories where the female lead is not totally submissive since it makes the interactions more spicy. I enjoy when both parties have to work as a team whether they want to or not, I hope that this doesn't disappoint.

Dante-AS, as every hate-love relationship I think they will start to care for each other. But her father and her sisters will make for a long time problems to them, also their attitude on Alina made me think they are not actually related.

Dante-AS - I’m on the fence on this one. The intro didn’t really hook my interest and make me excited to read more. This seems to be another stereotypical mafia/mobster story of him taking revenge on the innocent daughter without any indication something that could make this story unique.

Dante-AS I think it would make more sense or be more authentic if Alina spoke to her father in her Native language being Russian. I understand that this book is written in English but a bit of research on what is father in Russian would have made this more interesting. People speak in their native languages at home and for the family to not even utter one Russian word is simply unrealistic and quite ignorant of the writer to not incorporate in this book. But I like the pace of the book so far.

Dante-AS I think Dante and Alina are attracted to each other from the start but they are both covering it up with their hatred. so far this story is intriguing and I expect it’s only going to get better.

The writing in the first chapter was quite descriptive but I did notice a few grammatical errors or maybe the author's first language isn't english so it translated without the nuances of the language.
