x2c5 - I like long chapters. It seems to be a good book. The Queen should be an example for her people and not being revengeful for something that she definitly knew she will lose.

x2c5 well, that first chapter seems to really jump right into things. You’d think more than just Talia would be suspicious of the Queen’s invitation, especially right after she was publicly embarrassed.

I really don't get father and son... they're busily blaming the queen and not accepting thier part ...they're not taking ownweship of thier mistake..now they want to punish only her?? wheres the justice in that?? smh🤦♀️🤷♂️

Ok, is this still ongoing or is it complete? I've seen the author's promise in November to have it finished by the end of the month and a reference to the ending in comments but the status is still ongoing.

I thought something was fishy with the Queen wanting her to go and make eggs for the prince. she wants her dead because she defeated the Queen in battle.
