Tamia is a shy, ordinary girl living in Los Angeles, often teased by her peers because she's not up on the latest trends.

A trip to the mall with her friends turns into a chance encounter with the lead singer of a boyband (Jason Draper)- but Tamia has no idea who he is.

The two become fast friends, as Jason is relieved to meet someone who doesn't know anything about his fame. But what happens when Jason's identity is revealed?
