The moment I secretly heard these words, my heart broke. The King Logan didn't love me, and perhaps he never would. He only wanted the baby growing inside me and could take it from me without hesitation. Tears streamed down my face, and the pain of separating from Logan in that way was both dreadful and terrifying. But I couldn't go back now.

I can't say for sure how many chapters the book will have, but we haven't reached the halfway point yet. There's a lot more to come and I hope you'll continue to do me the honor of following the story.
