Grace is an unconventional princess, but one all the same. She loves violence and power, being the granddaughter of the Horned One himself. She dedicated years of her life to finding herself far away on an island dedicated to the Realm King, her Uncle.
With so much prestige, one would assume that her mate, the one the Moon Goddess, her grandmother, would give her a man of divine stature. One would assume that he too would have the same status as she, but instead, she is gifted a forsaken dragon. 
Instead, she receives a Rogue mate made of literal gold.
