A figure waited in the shadows. He smirks upon hearing that a baby girl had been born of both a Kolana wolf and a Mattra wolf. He had in his mind to kidnap the baby and kill the parents, the whole pack, if necessary. He knew this baby could bring him more power than ever imaginable. 

He drew his dagger out of its sheath on his hip and struck fast swiftly and quietly plunged the dagger into the Alpha's heart and turned his attention to the Luna.  

He smiled and disappeared into the shadows with his prize.

By the time that Symphony was quickly becoming an adventurous child. She had grown an attachment to Alexander over the past year and soon followed him everywhere. She loved to sit in his office while he was working.  

He hated the fact that things had begun to change in his mind about her since she was growing up.  

Knowing that he caused Symphony pain was more than he could stand. He really was starting to care for her more than just the need for power but as someone he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. 

He didn't understand these feelings. This felt stronger than that.  

If Lycans could have mates, Alexander swore this is what it would feel like.
