Did another author take over after the 18th birthday? They seriously turned Opal into a weakling after their shoft despite them sparring together and joking about who the alpha would be at the beginning of the story!

very interesting so far ,we'll written , unfortunately it does get a little maddening when one scene is replayed for each of the 5 characters and it is repetitive, hopefully it does not carry on like this for the whole book.
