I’m okay about the age of Alpha Nicholas but the idea that his daughter is 16 and if he ends up meeting his second chance mate who is going to be 18. That gives me more icks than I would expect.

You don’t get Sophie’s full story until the Ball. When Sophie was very young her parents die leaving no one to care for her. The Alpha adopts Sophie and she considers the Alpha’s brothers her uncles.

the book is pretty good so far, however I’m confused about how Nicholas can be 28 with a 16 year old daughter, and if she is his biologically, I find it rather disturbing that he got someone pregnant at the age of 12.

apart from the age discrepancy others have mentioned, the book so far is pretty good. i'm a bit confused though because in the ad, the alpha's daughter was very young & he was drawn to his mate because of the way she interacted with his daughter. this sounds like a different story.
