Plot

Maureen and her brother Lancelot were the children of the Beta male and female both love each other like every sibling. Suddenly things changed when Lancelot turned eighteen, he began acting strange and wanted his sister to stay away from him which broke his sister's heart. In an angry frenzy, he nearly killed his sister while trying to make her stay away from him.
He had to insist and told his parents he wanted to go to a nearby pack to train further in order to be a good Beta.
While in coma from her brother's attack, Maureen had a strange dream where she was told both her and Lance had a great destiny ahead of them. Lancelot returned years later shortly before his sister's eighteenth birthday. On the day of his sister's eighteenth birthday he called her 'Mate' in the presence of everyone.

It caused a lot of frenzy as they became the talk of the whole pack. The color of Maureen's wolf also became a concern. Her wolf was pure gold, so much that if she stood without moving, she would be taken for a golden statue.

Seeing Lancelot in so much pain, the Beta female and Luna decided to tell both Lancelot and Maureen the truth about Maureen's true birth.

The Luna was raped during one of their many trips by an unknown person who kidnapped her from right under their nose. Because Luna was against abortion, she had to keep the baby against everybody's will.

Knowing the truth that they weren't really siblings, Lancelot and Maureen decided to find Maureen's real root and why she was different from all other wolves.
