Part 2
Part 2
/His POV/
"Ple-please, Edward," She breathed softly, her eyes glistening and her cheeks red and blotched with tears, few strands of her sticking to her forehead with sweat.
"Please I can't hold it" She cried
I growled pulling her on to her knees with her back resting against the cold surface of the headboard. I flattened my one hand flat on the curve of her spine while trying to not get distracted by her breast. She gasped as I moved closer as if hoping I would simply slip inside her. My fingers dug in her waist as I tried to steady her.
"Fuck" A curse slipped my lips as she surged forward and leaned over my shoulder, nibbling and pressing tiny kisses on my shoulder. She began to work her hips
I began thrusting in hard with a low growl, feeling the drag of her walls clenching against me and changing the angle until I felt the cluster of nerves brush against the head of my cock. My abdomen clenched as I felt her consulve and she breathlessly fell back on the bed.
Closing my eyes I chased my orgasm, the bed squeaking and the headboard bouncing on the wall.
"Shit shit shit" I whispered brokenly, clenching my eyes shut as I shot in the condom. Sara winced at that and I pulled away, tying the condom together and throwing it in the bin.
The bed squeaked under my weight as I pushed myself beside her. She tried to wrap her arms around me but my brows furrowed at the action. What was she thinking?
"Sara stop that"
"What? I was just taking my phone from the table" She weakly said but then instead of doing that just slumped back on the bed.
"Sure" I rolled my eyes.
Sara was my personal assistant for two years. She was gone for me since the day she came for an interview. But still, I hired her because she had the best credentials compared to others.
It was professional between us until she dropped on her knees six months back and I couldn't ignore it. But it was clear it was only sex nothing else.
As I tried to roll over and get my cigarette my eyes fell on the huge clock hanging on the wall.
"Fuck my life today's Wednesday?" I asked while immediately sliding away from the bed. My pants were lying near the sliding door of my window.
"Yes, why?" Sara questioned while raising on her elbows.
"I need to go to my parent's house for dinner. Shit, I'll be late" I cursed while sliding on my boxers and looked over my shoulder to see her still on the bed.
"You need to leave"
"Excuse me?!"
"It's a two-hour drive and I don't know if I'll make back by midnight." I trailed and slipped inside the bathroom.
Taking a quick shower I dried myself and wrapped the robe around my body. I hurriedly slipped in my clothes and noticed that Sara was still brushing her hair.
"Come on quick" I yelled in her direction.
"Aren't you a delight after sex?"
"Thank you now get out" I huffed while unplugging my phone. Without wasting any second I slipped in my shoes and walked out of the room.
Sara gave me one last look and then walked out, muttering curses under her breath. I can deal with her later.
"Are you leaving somewhere signor?" The guard asked
"Sì. Today is Wednesday. Family dinner. Arrivederci" I nodded at him and walked in the direction of the garage.
As soon as I stood in front of my parent's house a sigh left my lips. I was able to reach in exactly two hours which was a record considering the traffic on the bridge.
A smile instantly lit my lips as my eyes fell on the nameplate displayed beside the huge entrance of our bungalow. It was hand made by my sister. She had mentioned every family member name and decorated it.
I shuddered as the chilly breeze floated around me. New York tends to get chilly at night. I pulled the blazer closer by the edges and rang the buzzer.
Tapping my feet against the entrance floor I let out a huge sigh. What was taking them so long?
My head turned towards the sound of the night insects. Looking at the huge lawn I smiled. It reminded me of the lawn we owned back in Italy before we settled in New York.
And all because of my dad. He set up his small company here and it took off and after years of hard work we finally own one of the largest mobile company. The demand has only increased since the past year which made us easy to expand and ever since I took over we successfully set up three more branches. It was one of the reasons why I spend my time in New York and travelling.
After a few seconds, I heard footsteps approaching the door and I immediately turned my head.
"Buonasera Ales."
The soft raspy voice made my head snap towards my mother. She stood at the edge with a spatula in her hand while her white apron had sauce stains on it. I looked at her closely, she looked older than the last time I visited her. Her eyes dull and tired but they still shone as she raised her eyebrows at me. She tapped her feet against the floor, waiting for me to step inside. As soon as I leaned in all I could smell was the sauce. My stomach growled in hunger and I embarrassingly ducked my head down.
"Buonasera ma." I greeted, bending down and placing a kiss on her cheek.
"You're late"
"Sorry ma" I sheepishly smiled at her as she turned around, obvious to my presence and walked inside. The door softly shut behind me.
"Buonasera Edwardo" Angelina waved at me as soon as I spotted her sitting in front of my father with thick sketchbook in her lap. Definitely, she was boring my father with her art school stuff.
"Another art disaster story?" I teased while ruffling her hair.
I slumped on the couch and as I tried to get the sketch book she slapped my hand away.
"It is boring art" She mocked my earlier words.
"Buonasera papa" I looked at my father.
"Buonasera Edward. Why are you so late? We all were waiting for you" He asked patiently.
I cleared my throat, looking in the direction of my sister who clearly looked pleased.
"The meeting with Stuarts got a bit extended. They were not ready to sign the contract at the usual rate so we had to call Adam and it was a whole mess"
"How is he?" My sister asked in an excited tone to which I narrowed my eyes at her. Why did she care? Last time I checked he was still my legal advisor and friend, not hers.
"So is it solved then?" My father asked
"Huh?" I blinked cluelessly and then realised that he was asking about the lie I told about.
"Yeah yeah, everything is fine. Perfetto"
"Before you both begin with all your business language Edwardo I want to ask something." My mother interrupted.
"What ma?"
"Did you get the invitation?" My mother asked. I shook my head because I had no idea what she was talking about. Maybe I should have asked Sara.
"What invitation are you talking about?"
"Francesca is getting married and your uncle specially asked for you." My father answered while staring at me. He adjusted his glasses before leaning back against the couch. My mother hummed.
It made my eyes widen. Francesca Murray is my cousin, my maternal uncle's only daughter. She used to play with me and my sister in summer. It had been a while since I last saw her but she was definitely the kind of girl who never wanted to get married.
"When is the marriage?" I asked
"On 27th of this month but we are going two weeks before because we are family"
"Two weeks?" I screeched, holding my breath for either of them to burst out laughing.
"Yes, two weeks" My father nodded his head.
"I am not going"
"Edwardo you need to relax and besides it's been ages since you have seen our extended family" My mother grumbled.
"Yes I need a trip, not a bloody two-week vacation"
"Language" My father gritted his teeth.
"Just think about it, please. Its a chance to meet everyone. Maybe we can find a perfetto sposa for you"
I rolled my eyes at my mother's excited tone. But I did not want to upset her so I hummed, "Fine. I'll try to be there."
"Aw you sound so excited Edwardo" My sister snorted while pinching my arm. I pushed her away and looked at my father who had a grim look on his face.
"You know your mother is right. You do need a vacation and this is the perfect one. No one is going to get affected if you take a few days off for yourself"
Ouch.
Before I could reply with anything my mother narrowed her eyes at me. They were all ready to fire and I was not in the mood to fight. It was so unfair.
"Fine" I whispered to my father
"Anyways when is the wedding Angelina?" I asked my sister who was busy messing with the thread strands of her sketchbook. It was so like her to zone out of the conversation and only be interested when she was the centre of attention.
"I'll heat up the dinner" My mother excused herself and walked inside the kitchen.
I tapped at my sister's arm to which she raised her head and blinked confusingly.
"Did you hear what I asked?"
"No" She admitted with an embarrassed smile.
"I asked where is the wedding?"
"Oh its somewhere far away from here. I'm not sure but wait..." She said and hurriedly rushed towards the drawer. She shuffled through the cards and picked the invitation.
"Here" She thrust it towards me.
A low whistle slipped my lips as I stared at the location.
"It is in North Carolina"
"Yeah so" She dumbly asked looking at me.
"That's like an eight hours drive from here" I groaned slapping the card against my face. Why did I even agree?
"But you can drive, right? Did you lose your licence or something? Or worst did they cancel your licence or give you a ticket?" She gasped dramatically.
"Ticket? Please that sounds like your behaviour"
"Shut up I never got one"
"So am I supposed to applaud you?" I scoffed
My father groaned and harshly slammed the paper, "Cut it you two"
My sister looked at me as if it was my fault.
"Edwardo you're going. End of discussion."
I nodded my head.
