Chapter 11

"Come here Pluto, come here boy." Tori said to my puppy while clapping her hands together.

I watched as Pluto ran into Tori's open arms, wagging his tail happily as she sat him on her lap and began petting him.

"Why the hell did you name the dog Pluto?"

"I named it Pluto because that's the first thing that came to my mind. " I shrugged as I sat on my bed and started putting on the pumps that Tori had forcefully picked out for me to wear.

Tori had personally gotten rid of all the clothes in my closet that she deemed old fashion, and restock it with a totally new wardrobe. She evidently did the same for my shoes. And today, she had personally picked out what outfit I should wear to work this morning. Tori was also coming with me to Bryan's office and she was going to be helping me out-- since she was going to be here for the remainder of the week, and had caused me to miss an entire day yesterday getting a makeover.

"You're so weird Ali." Tori shook her head at me.

"I guess I am." I shrugged with a chuckle.

"Whatever. Now stand and let me see you." she said to me. "Okay, turn."

Sighing, I stood and did a little pose and twirl for her.

"Happy?" I asked.

"Yeah, I am in fact very happy. This is the Allison, I knew. Good to have her back." she smiled looking me over.

"She was never gone." I said to her.

"Oh honey, stop being in denial. She's been gone for years. And I'm just starting to see traces of her coming back since yesterday, so welcome back." she smiled before putting Pluto aside then standing up.

"And then you call me weird?" I said to her. "You, you're crazy."

"Yeah I know," Tori chuckled. "I love you too Ali."

"I didn't say I love you."

"Yeah but I know you do." Tori said cockily with a grin.

"I don't". I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Of course you do." Tori said coming towards me holding out her arms for a hug.

"No." I backed away from her.

"Yes." Tori grinned creepily all the while following me with outstretched arms

"Nope."

"Yes."

"Alright I do." I finally gave up and hugged her.

"I knew it." Tori chuckled hugging me real tight with caused me to laugh.

"I've missed you Tori. I'm so glad your here." I sighed hugging her back.

"I know, I have missed you too." Tori sighed as well. "Anyway I think you should be leaving for work. I want to meet this Mr.Bryan West."

"Well aren't you anxious." I chuckled.

"I won't deny it, if he's as hot and handsome as you say he is, I definitely have to meet him." Tori chuckled wiggling her brows.

"Come on, Nathan is supposed to be waiting outside." I said picking up my bag before leaving my room.

"So do you think I'll be lucky enough to run into Christopher this morning?" Tori asked as we descended the stairs.

"I doubt that," I scoffed. "He's hardly ever here. He probably left long ago. Christopher doesn't like being here around me too long".

"We're gonna have to work on changing that. By the end of this week he's going to be begging to be around you." Tori said smirked.

"Gee, really? I wonder why?" I said sarcastically.

"You'll see. If you continue to go back to being your old self, he's gonna be wanting you more than he could ever imagined. Just you wait." Tori replied. "He hasn't seen the real you yet, just wait until he sees you, he'll definitely be noticing you more than ever before."

"Whatever Tori. I've been the same person now and then. So if he didn't noticed me before, I don't think he's gonna notice me now."

"I'm telling you Ali, just wait." Tori said as we left the house and headed towards the car.

"I don't care. He's rude and he doesn't respects me so I hardly think I want him to start noticing me. Besides, he clearly told me that I'm not his type so I doubt changing my hair and clothes gonna suddenly make me his type."

"I'm telling you Alli, you don't seem to give yourself much credit. It's like you haven't noticed the effects you used to have on guys back in highschool."

"Tori, you're talking nonsense." I chuckled.

"Alright Ali, you just wait. We'll see." Tori said as we slid into the backseat of the car.

"Good morning Nathan." Tori and I greeted the driver.

"Morning Misses Diamond." Nathan chuckled starting the car. "How are you both this morning?"

"We're good" "And you?

"I'm well too." Nathan replied before driving off.

"Allison?" Bryan asked looking at me shocked when I showed up at his office.

"Wow, you looked... I almost didn't recognize you. You look so different... You're beautiful, well not that you weren't before but today you're just so... Wow... And blond really suits you. You should do your hair like this more often."

"Bryan, I planned to. Especially since it is my natural hair color. " I smiled at him as I touched a piece of my hair.

"Truly? It's your real hair?"

"Yep, I am blonde," I chuckled. "A natural blonde."

"You are? Wow, Allison you're extremely beautiful why were you hiding that before?"

"Told you." Tori said in a singsong voice.

"Thanks Bryan. Oh and this here is my crazy cousin Tori. She's the reason I've been missing here yesterday. Took me to get all this done, so if you're looking someone to blame, blame her. She was the one who phoned you yesterday."

"Oh I see," Bryan smiled warmly as he looked at Tori. "It's so nice to meet you Tori." he said stretching his hand to her.

"And you too Bryan," Tori smiled taking his hand. "Tori Diamond."

"I can see that, you are truly a Diamond. I guess the Diamond women are all beautiful." Bryan said smiling.

"Yes we are." Tori chuckled. "By the way you're really handsome as well."

Leave it up to Tori to be bold and start flirting right away. Tori was never one to be shy, she was always the straightforward type person.

"Thank you." Bryan chuckled.

I stood there watching both of them standing there smiling with each other. Even their hands were still attached from the handshake earlier-- although I don't think either of them noticed. I knew they would instantly liked each other if they met. I decided to give them a couple more seconds of admiring each other, before interrupting them.

"Ahem," I cleared my throat causing them to break apart.

"Sorry." they both mumbled at the same time then chuckling realising this.

I hate to be the party popper here but the sooner we get to work, the sooner they can get to go know each other more if they so desire.

"So about re-designing your office?" I smiled innocently.
