03 Hawaii pt 1

The cool wind blew in the garden of the seven star hotel in Hawaii.

"Ready, 1 2 3 Jump!" Veera shouted

Four models jumped in the air, giving Veera their best shots holding the perfume with their perfect smiles.

Looking at tropical paradise before her she was glad she came with Emerald and her Aunt.

"Great excellent guys!"

The models consisted of two guys and two girls. They all looked very pretty in their attire of fashionable clothes which were designed by Vera Wang. Veera was having quite fun shooting with them and they were happy with her work, as she got great shots of them in their best moments.

Emerald and Aunt Rita helped Veera with the photo shoot and by luck, Emerald also got to be part of the shoot when one of the female models suddenly got ill.

She was having a really bad jet lag and hadn't quite recovered, as she got a stomach upset and puked up.

Other than that, the shoot went fine. Veera had around three days left to spend here at the resort, and she was going to make the most of it.

The day went by and as the sun went down, the team called it a day.

Two of the models hugged Veera and became friends with them.

"Hey you want to come by the pool later?" Asked a model, named Angelo.

"Oh, no."

"C'mon don't you want to swim?" He asked trying to tempt her with his beautiful charming face and hot body.

As much as Veera was tempted by his hottness to join him she sadly declined.

"I can't swim." She said affirmatively

She was a crappiest swimmer. She didn't do well in the water, and she thought that it was the fact that she was an Apsara (Angel). Her ancestor was also a crappy swimmer in the legend too. But then again, so were her parents.

Veera wasn't scared of the water, or sea or even the pool. She enjoyed watching the water, so long as it was from a good distance.

Veera always thought about jumping in the pool. She wanted to do so. But she was just afraid of drowning and not resurfacing up again.

Infact that had happened along time ago in in High school 5 years ago. Veera was forced to take a swim class in order to pass her P.E class just so that she could graduate. Sadly the swimming lesson went badly when her arm floaters decided to deflate. She had drifted of in the deep end somehow and suddenly, she couldn't feel the ground below her feet. One thing led to another and Veera felt her self sink.

Luckily, Emerald her hero noticed her dear friend missing and dived in just in time to bring her back up for air.

When aunt Rita found out about what had happened to Veera, she almost fainted thinking she had died. In a fury she marched to her school and told her coach of for not taking care of her. From that day onward, Veera had managed to get out of all her swimming lessons, or aunt Rita would have sued them for their carelessness.

"You can't?" Angelo brought her back to the present.

"Yeah, but don't worry, I can take shots for you for your insta?"

Angelo hugged her and looked down at her warmly.

"You'd do that for me?"

"What about me?" A female model asked wanting shots for her insta.

"Wait will you charge us?" Angelo asked worriedly

"Guys, relax it's free." Veera said making them happy.

"You're the best photographer Veera. The last one was so stuck up." Chimed Amethyst who was also known as Amy.

Amy, Angelo and Veera walked away and a special admirer who was soon going to kidnap his precious saviour heard everything. He grinned to himself darkly and kept a watch from the distance.

The tide was just right for a swim at the beach and Emerald had forced Veera to wear her bikini. She was feeling so shy and embarrassed since Veera was not the type to show off her body like that.

But Emerald wanted to break her out of her shy self.

"You have a sexy a$$! (slaps her a$$)"

"Hey!" Veera said strongly offended at her assets her mother gave her.

"Shutup, you know you like that! Now c'mon we're going to the beach Veera!" Emerald dragged her and as she saw the beach. Veera decided to make a run for it.

But she didn't get far when Angelo grabbed her and put her over his shoulder and took her in the water.

Everyone welcomed her and clapped and Veera felt the cool waves as Angelo put her in the water and splashed water at her playfully. Veera laughed and did the same thing.

Emerald held her hand and smiled at her. Her friend was having a good time.

"Hey! I'm here ok, don't worry and enjoy yourself Veera."

"Don't leave my hand Em!" She held her like she was her life support.

"Now why would I (lets go)"

"Em!"

"Jump Veera!"

Emerald laughed as Veera glared at her but she jumped again by herself. Veera thankfully didn't drown since she felt the sandy ground below her.

Amy and Angelo went and did the jet skies while other members of the team did other water sports.

Veera had never been in the ocean before. But it felt great.

She relaxed in the water as she saw Emerald now going on the surf board. She was a really cool friend and Veera laughed as she fell of her board and re-surfaced giving her a wave.

.

.

That night, the team had gathered and the locals had put on a show for them. They were still in their swim suits and some had changed.

"How was the beach sweety?" Aunt Rita asked as she sipped her juice from her coconut.

"Great, I think I'll go again tomorrow." Veera admitted, looking at her life support ofcourse. Emerald was too busy flirting with Angelo and Amy was acting weird looking at the night sky.

"You know..I think it's going to rain." She said looking at Veera nodding at her.

"Ok? That's nice to know Amy." Veera said looking up not seeing a rain cloud in sight. Amy laughed and sipped her drink.

"Want some? It's really good."

By the smell of her breath, the drink was no doubt alcholic and Amy was getting tipsy.

"No thanks. I have mine right here." Veera showed her the glass of gingerale, making Amy think it was beer.

"Will three people please join us for the hula dance?" One of the main dancers asked on the microphone.

Amy suddenly grabbed Veera and Veera grabbed Emerald who almost was about to kiss Angelo.

Angelo saw Emerald got up on the stage and wear the grass skirt and all three of them started swaying.

Then suddenly it started to rain.

Angelo grabbed Emerald and Amy ran off with the hula dancers. Watching the rest of the team runaway towards the hotel Veera, was just about to head that way, when it suddenly poured down heavily.

Changing her direction quickly, Veera headed towards the garden where there was a little open hut. She entered it quickly. The hut was dimly litted, but Veera then saw that she wasn't alone in the little hut. But she couldn't quite make out who it was, since the figure was standing in the shadows.

The thunder sounded loudly making her gasp out of surprise and look at the sky.

"Are you afraid of a little thunder?" The smooth dark voice asked, suddenly sending chills down her spine.

Veera calmed her racing heart rates and did her best to ignore another clap of thunder.

"No, I'm not." She replied to the stranger standing in the dark.

A chuckled came out and Veera turned her attention towards the sound of mockery.

"I'm sorry, who are you?"

Ares stepped out from the shadows taking her breath away. A smirk played on his perfect chiselled face.

Veera looked at him, as if her eyes had been suddenly blessed. The stranger wore a suit and tie and looked dangerously handsome.

It thundered rather loudly again and Veera jumped a little out of fright. The stranger caught her hand steadying her.

Ares did his best not to scent her. She was already wet due to the rain and looking sexy as hell in her red bikini and grass skirt.

"You danced well tonight." He stared at her looking at her deeply. He wanted to hug her, but he fought his inner beast to keep calm. He did not want to frighten her away all too soon. He let go of her hand.

"Wh..What?" Veera stuttered suddenly feeling nervous. Still she looked puzzled looking at up at him. She hadn't notice he was there in the crowd when she was dancing.

"I watched you danced tonight." he reminded her once again making her cheeks heat up.

"Oh?..Thanks. So are you a guest here?" Veera asked shaking away her nervous tension around him.

Ares smiled warmly at her.

He had so many questions to ask her

Who was she? Where did she come from? How on Earth did he save her from dying from a deadly poisoned bullets that had no cure. How did she take out the bullets with no medical instruments? How did she heal him? Was she a witch? Why did she save him? Was she even human? If so. She sure didn't smell like an ordinary one. But one question he wanted to ask her was why was he so attracted to her, even after he had a mate.

He didn't wish to cheat on his mate.

But at the same time, he didn't want to loose her too.

Ares didn't care at this point. He knew he couldn't take her from his little town, since it wasn't his territory, but now that they were both overseas in an exotic location, there was no way she was going to be escaping him so easily.

"For now, and soon you'll be mine too."

Veera looked at him oddly. Did he just say I'll be his guest?

Veera was just about to ask him that, but then it thundered again and Veera walked away from him sitting down on the sofa, folding her hands and rubbing them up and down. She was no good with the lightning either.

In her own comical way. She always felt as if Zeus was taking photographs from above.

She looked at the handsome stranger looking at her, and she nervously smiled at him, thanking Zeus secretly that she wasn't alone in the hut.

Ares could easily take of his coat and offer it to her, but he had another idea.

"Would you like me to drop you off at the reception?" He asked.

Veera looked at the lightning and thunder and the heavy rain pouring outside. She was aware that tonight was going to be a thunderstorm, but she thought it was going to happen past midnight. Obviously the weather app got it wrong.

There was no way she was going out in that down pour. What were the chances of getting struck by lightning?

Veera shook her head at that thought.

"No, I'm just going to wait till the rain and thunder goes down."

He was a little disappointed at her answer. But he knew he couldn't stick around here for too long. After finding her after five years, Ares had made all the plans. He was going to make her his, but in order to that, he had to get other things sorted out first.

Ares nodded and turned on his heel.

Veera didn't want to be alone by herself and stood up.

"Wait, where are you going?" She asked with a hint of worry in her voice.

Ares smirked and turned back to her giving his calm poker face.

"I'm going to the reception." He replied.

"Wait. It's raining and you don't have an umbrella?" Veera stated hoping he would stop from leaving.

Ares swiftly took out his jacket and put it over his head.

"I have my shelter here. But don't mind me. The rain and thunder will go away soon enough."

It thundered again and Veera walked quickly towards him holding his sleeve of the jacket he was holding. Ares found her so cute as she looked up at him with her big worried eyes.

"Wait. Don't go. Please stay? I don't wish to be alone here?" She was clearly afraid.

"I'm sorry little bird, but I'm afraid my guests are waiting for me inside. Please do not be afraid and come with me?"

"How?"

Ares stood closer to her and shielded them both with his jacket. Veera gasped at him at his sudden closeness and Ares looked down at her warmly. He was tempted to steal a kiss under the rain and thunder, but he held his intentions in for now.

"Don't think about the thunder or the rain, and you'll be fine. Stay close to me if you don't want to get wet"

He couldn't wait to get her wet, he slyly thought.

"Is that ok with you?" He advised.

"Sure." Veera nodded and came closer (completly obvilious about his intentions) towards him, looking at the thundering sky above. Ares took this moment to inhale her head discreetly. She smelled like wild flowers. His inner wolf got excited wildly wagging his tail happily.

"Are you ready to go?"

"Yeah."

Ares walked out with her. Veera was being careful not to invade his personal space as much as possible but that back fired when a loud thunder clapped once again, making her gasp out of fright and cling on on to him from the sides.

"It's ok. We are almost there." Ares said and they quickly ran entering the reception lounge.

Ares now put his jacket over her. He leaned down stealing one more scent by her neck in the most discreet manner, making sure not touch a strand of her wet hair, just yet.

"Here, this will keep you warm." His jacket came around her sheilding her away from the cold wind of the rain.

"Um, thanks?" Veera put it on her and as she turned around to say thankyou.

But he no longer was there.

He was gone like a ghost.
