*Prologue

March 2015*

The prison alarms were waling. Doors were going open and police staff was running everywhere, trying to obtain the escaped prisoners. I stayed relaxed on my thin mattress. I didn't need to go out there, days before my court hearing about bail. I didn't want to cause any problems that could give the prison a reason to deny bail.

The prison riot was caused by some gang activity and it was started to get out of hand. I rolled my head and stared out of my open cell door. Rolling my eyes I sat up and rubbed my knees. Why did things have to always get out of hand?

The fugitive from 2 cells over was standing outside my cell door. Let's just say we didn't get along well. She bumped her fist together before giving me a stink glare. As I said, I didn't want to be a part of this but I was going to defend myself if it came to it.

She slowly walked in and stood the whole door full. She was one big ass son of a biscuit and if I wasn't as skilled as I was, she would probably be able to break me in half. "Guarda, non voglio problemi."

The Italian slipped from my mouth just as she reached for my shirt to pull me up. I wasn't going to get beaten up by this woman. Giving a glance over her shoulder I saw my favourite guard.

He was shaking his head, trying to stop me from what he knew would be a close death scene. The woman dropped me and I stood back. I wasn't going to deliver the first punch. I was not going to.

It was a few nanoseconds. I blinked and then I fell back onto the bed. The punch she landed on my face with such force had thrown me back onto my bed. That did it! I stood up, brushed my shoulders and then swung my fist.

Half an hour Later

I was pushed back into my cell as the police staff carried out the woman. She was placed on a stretcher and dragged out by 3 guards. The head guard glared at me and stated, "Your bail is being denied." I jumped back up from my relaxed position and glared. "She started it, I didn't through the first punch!"

He grinned and nodded, "We know, but the judge won't. We're not letting you out of here any time soon little girly. As long as we have a say in it, you'll be here for your full sentence."

I reached out to grab his clothing and pulled him flushed against the cell doors. "We'll see about that." Before the other guards could see what was happening I let go of the shirt bunched up in my fist and patted him on the chest.

"You have a nice day officer."
