Chapter 3:- The filthy stray.

It was midnight, I stood within the cemetery for hours, naked; staring at the hole within the ground that was now my brother grave.

I detested the way I buried him, but I had to do so, right away.

“I promise you I will give you a proper burial, brother,” I spoke to him.

“Awooooo!.....,” I again heard the she-wolf howled, sadly. Causing me to turn towards the direction the sound came from.

“Awooo....” It howled, sadly again.

The poor thing sounded as if it too was homeless and hungry.

It seems it was somewhere above the land of Werewille on top of a hill.

It, too, sounded as if it didn't belong here.

It howled again until its voice was no more, but still, I continued to stare at the direction the she-wolf was.

I shook my head, bringing my attention back to my brother, and wanting to find Paisley.

I missed her so much. Where ever she is I hope she knows I miss her and that I am looking for her.

It pains my heart for thinking this, knowing she too is hurting, but I have to put a pause on my mission in search of her. I now had to seek revenge for my brother and his entire pack.

I squeeze my hands into a tight fist, dying inside to find that vicious murderer.

I exit the cemetery and walked home; while the night, covers my body like a blanket; hiding my nudity.

I hated going home to a large house with only two workers and not having Paisley waiting on me; helping me to forget all the troubles brought on me by this blood thirst world and using her body and voice to ease this pain.

Finally, I had reached home.

I open the door and close it behind me, walking upstairs to my room and into my bathroom; washing all the dirt from my body.

I turned off the pipe and wrap myself with my white towel, going within my room.

I was not interested in putting on any clothes.

I dry off myself. I threw the towel aside that was now wet and threw myself onto my large king-size bed, staring through the window.

“Awooooo!...,” I heard the she-wolf, cries, again.

Listening to her, I felt my eyes slowly closes as I fall off to sleep.

“Liam!, Liam!” I heard my mom calling me from outside my room while she repeatedly knocks on the door.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw it was morning already.

I looked at the clock and saw I slept late, which I don't normally do.

I was always the first one to wake up and would take a morning run before the sun awakes.

“Liam!, Liam!” she kept on calling me.

I continue to lay within the bed, not wanting to talk to anyone now. I know why she was here. To see if I found Paisley as always.

My mother Jennifer loves Paisley very much. She was like a daughter to her. When Paisley was here, they were always together.

“Liam, I know you're awake, please stop ignoring me and open the damn door,” she instructed me to.

I remove myself from the bed and hurriedly went within my draw in putting on a long, dark sweatpants.

I then went to the door to open it.

“Did you find her and is she okay?” she asked me.

“Good morning mom,” I answered her.

I had my mom's dark hair. Her eyes were dark brown, and I was much taller than her.

“I'm sorry son, I forgot my manners. Now did you find her and is she okay?” she again asked me while she walked straight into my room and sat on the side of my bed. Waiting impatiently on me to answer her.

“No and I don't know, I answered all of her questions. Searching for her allowed me to discover that Aaron and his entire pack had been killed,” I told her sadly.

“What!, she answered me frighteningly. When did it happen?”

“I don't know,” I answered her.

“Who killed them all?” she again inquired me while she jumped off the bed, coming towards me.

“I don't know!” I shouted at her, angrily and frustrated.

Soon there was nothing but silence within the room.

“I know you're hurting son, she touched my right hand. When you do find that cold-hearted killer. I want you to make him suffer,” she said angrily.

I looked straight into her eyes and promised her. That was the best thing she had said to me for a long time.

Suddenly I removed myself from her, exiting the room.

“Where are you going?” she instructed me.

I love my mom, but I wish she could sometimes see I was no longer a child to her. I was an alpha and protector of my people and Wereville. Whatever I do or go it was none of her business.

I didn't answer and left the house for a morning run as usual, even though it was late. I just needed some time to think, about finding ways on how I could find the person who killed my brother. The thought of revisiting his home, hurt me, to recheck for clues I have somehow missed out on.

I went into the forest, quickly taking off my sweatpants and hid it behind a tree. I shifted within my wolf form and started on my morning run.

The breeze blew through my dark fur allowing me to feel its coldness.

I ran straight into the forest as my eyes stayed focus on where I was running.

Suddenly I heard a whimpering sound of a strange wolf on my land.

I stopped and listen carefully to find which direction the sound came from.

I wanted to know why that wolf was here in Wereville.

I figure out the whereabouts of the sound and ran towards it.

As I came closer towards the sound.

I was surprised to see my enemy, Alpha Alexander, and four of his pack members, across from Werewille.

They were growling at something hanging from the cliff, where I was. Not being able to catch it.

I walked towards the cliff and there I saw a young, blue eye she-wolf.

It was very small and thin. Its white fur was dirty and covered in mud.

I turned my head aside, not being able to bear its scent. She was not only filthy, but her odor was unbearable.

“Hmmm....,” it whimpered, terrified. As it, two front feet held on to the edge of the cliff. Trying to save itself from falling within the large river filled with crocodiles.

I turned to look at the filthy thing, wondering why the alpha was chasing it.

“Hmmm..,” it again whimpered, scared as one of its feet slide through a piece of the cliff breaking it.

It was now hanging from the cliff with one of its feet.

I was not interested in saving it. Who knows why the silver pack leader, Alexander was chasing it.

I heard the filthy she-wolf cried out as its last feet was about to give up on her.

I realized it was the strange wolf. I heard crying all night.

Trying hard to bear her stinking scent. I grab her by her neck and threw her behind me.

“Grr...,” I heard Alexander, my enemy growled at me, from across the cliff.

“Remember your rules,” he said to me, angrily. As he and his member ran off.

As I watched them ran off. I heard the filthy stray behind me crying in pain.

It seems I had grabbed her by her neck too hard, but I didn't care anyway. The filthy stray was lucky I choose to help her, or she would be crocodile food by now.

I slowly turned to look at her and saw she was in the same, position, I threw her on the ground.

I crawled up to her.

The dirty she-wolf closed her eyes, terrified as hell.

I turned my head away from her and ran off. Her scent was mighty strong.

She was weak and could easily be taken down by anyone. She was no harm to anyone here in Werewille. Dealing with her now would be a waste of time, but still, I was curious as to why Alexander was chasing such a weakling and within the dirty condition she was.

To me, the filthy stray was just rubbish.

I quickly took my mind off her and started off home, to begin my mission of seeking revenge and finding my love.

Suddenly I felt a strong, weird feeling.

My wolf felt strange. The feeling I felt now was somehow similar to how I felt about Paisley, but it was much stronger.

My wolf stopped to run, wanting to return to the filthy thing.

“No,” it couldn't be I thought. That disgusting thing could never me by mate nor was I ever going to accept it.

My wolf was fighting to return to the stray. I quickly got hold of myself.

I shook my furry head.

Maybe I'm shaken up by losing my brother and my runaway first love and it's causing me to become confused. In thinking that garbage is my mate, I thought.

The moon Goddess would never give me such a thing for a mate. I continued to thought, as I began to run home.

Suddenly I heard a strange voice within my head.

“Your mate is in trouble. You need to return to the cliff and carry her with you,” the strange voice said.

I stopped and raised my head above the sky, angrily.

“You won't allow me and Paisley to be together and you took my brother from me! “I shouted angrily

“And now you gave me a piece of shit for my mate.”

“What have I done to you to deserve this?” I asked the moon goddess.

That very moment, I knew I had to get rid of that stray wolf right away.

I will not let anyone know I'm mated to such a thing.

**It seems somebody already knew, that the lone she-wolf is his mate?
