Chapter 2: "Amnesia"
Onyx:
Feeling the coolness of the stone floor vacate my body, slamming heavily into the wall with a loud cracking thud, landing forcefully on my stomach.
Shakily turning my gaze to Zek licking his lips with a dangerous glint in his eye.
“Shame princess. What a beautiful woman you are and Kano laid claim.” Zek growled darkly as he kneeled to my side, lifting my matted locks from my blood coated face with a sneer.
His deep blue eyes scanned my body with a dark desire, holding me prisoner in his dark gaze as his large, calloused hand slide slowly over my half-naked hip, feeling his long strong fingers gently cupping the flesh.
The heavy swirling in my stomach made the sensation even more disgusting as my heart skipped beats like a fucking jump rope.
“You.. are.. truly.. special.” His dark, drawn timbered voice, stabbed violently at my heart as the swirling grew stronger with a fury.
Each finger rolled in a synced motion as his eyes grew darker, more serpent-like, licking his lips with a snakes flickering tongue and dark, jowl grumble. Kneeling forward with a serpents grace, placing his black clawed hand in front of my face.
Panic and fear, escaped my trembling body in an erratic rhythm of short breaths, focusing on the long slimy, pronged tongue flickering smoothly over my ear with a loud hissing whisper.
The raging swirling final erupted into a bitter, nostril burning, tear jerking white-pasty foam with a loud guttural cough.
HISSSSS!!!
Zek jerked back as my body expelled a white foamy ooze with a putrid smell, heaving heavier as my body erupted into a fiery inferno with below negative shivers.
Loud screaming echoed loudly, realizing it was coming from me as my body jerked and contorted into positions only seen in horror movies. Zek smirked darkly as he watched my body tremble in violent tremors. Kano stepped into the cell with a surprised expression and calloused smirk.
“What the Hell did you do?” Kano laughed darkly as he kneeled next to my thrashing body, placing his nasty finger along my cheek.
“DON’T TOUCH ME!!” Roared through my lips in a dark growl.
Jerking back in shock that “that” just came out of me.
Kano stood back in victory as Zek perked a brow of curiosity at my outburst.
“OH-HO! She can speak.” Kano laughed even darker as Zek smirked with a scoff.
“What other surprises do “we” have? Humm…” Zek leaned back against the wall, crossing his large, tree trunk arms across his boulder of a chest.
Kano approached with a sinister smirk as his eyes became blacker than onyx with a bright flicker of crimson. Slits like a snake as his tongue flicked through the air, smirking as his eyes lolled along my trembling body.
My insides felt like I had been tossed into a boiling pot of water with a side dish of acid dipped ice sickles.
“This is “new”.” Kano laughed with a dark hiss as his fingers trailed up my rigid legs, feeling the swirling grow in rage.
Zek grabbed Kano by the shoulder in a flash as the white foamy ooze heaved violently from my body, weakly gripping the stone floor with each violent coughing gag.
Remembering this feeling when Draven and Lana engaged my shift from…oh, no..no, no, no. NO!
“She’s scared.” Zek inhaled deeply as his nostrils flared in excitement as Kano smirked darkly with his arms crossed over his broad chest.
“No Shit!” I screamed silently as my arms jerked and twisted along my torso, feeling my bones and muscles shift and pull with a fiery rush of boiling heat.
“Wait! What’s happening?” Zek pointed with his finger in amusement as Kano perked a dark eyebrow.
The heat becoming too much as my already foggy haze intensified.
“Shit! She’s not ready. Get her out of here before it completes.” Kano growled as his fist slammed into the stone wall, causing the ceiling to spit dust and pebbles along the floor.
Zek nodded firmly as his arms scooped me up into his sweaty chest, flipping my half-conscious ass over his shoulder. Kano waved mockingly as my consciousness slipped away with each stride.
The strong tingly sensation erupted through my body, embraced by a wall of freezing wind, smelling the crispness of the mountain air.
“Later princess.” Zek laughed darkly as my body pitched forward into the air, feeling weightless as the freezing wind rushed over my body.
Opening my eyes enough to see the distancing stars, twinkle in mockery as my arms drifted listlessly in the invisible wind. Slamming into a solid steel wall as everything went black with the strong embrace of freezing cold.
“Oh, my God! Is she alive?” a soft females voice screamed through the heavy darkness, feeling warmth sooth my freezing skin along my cheeks and forehead.
“QUICK! FIRE THE BIRD!” Strong arms gently caressed my limp body as blackness swept over me again.
“What is she? Fourteen?” A distant voice spoke calmly as a sharp pinch radiated through my arm, feeling a warming trickle creep along my arm…blackness.
Soft beeping, humming of weird machines, spinning back into a weird blanket of blackness.
“Poor thing. What happened to you?” A soft, gentle voice spoke to me as warm liquid gently ran down my body, soft tugging on my hair as the warm liquid embraced me slowly.
“What is this?” Another younger, soft voice spoke in curiosity.
“It’s a business card. How did it get in her hair?” The older soft voice spoke with a soft chuckle.
“Maybe they know her?” The younger voice spoke with a greater softness.
“Maybe. Blackfang Enterprises.” The older voice spoke as soft cotton was laid along my body, feeling “snug as a bug”.
Blackness…
Gasping…
“OH MY GOD! ONYX!” A strong woman’s voice whispered shouted as warm hands ran along my face, cupping my cheek with sniffling, wet droplets streaking down my cheek.
“Draven, what happened to her?” The woman’s voice cracked heavily with emotion.
“The Doctor said she was found at the base of Mount Asgard on Baffin Island, badly bruised, a few broken bones and almost dead from hypothermia.” A deep, baritone voice spoke softly as a large patch of warmth laid on my arm with a soft squeeze.
“Onyx, sweetheart. What happened?” The woman’s voice spoke softly to my ear as her fingers brushed through my locks.
“Lana, the “Triplets”. They can’t find out like this.” The man, Draven spoke softly with a hint of sadness in his warm baritone voice.
“They’re already wreaks as it is. This would devastate them.” The woman, Lana spoke with a heavy rush of sobs.
“She needs to rest, let’s get settled in. I’ll get some coffee.” Draven spoke calmly as his warmth slid gently down my arm, gripping my hand with a soft squeeze.
Blackness…warmth cradling my hand as soft humming filled the blackness.
“Onyx, sweetheart. Wake-up for Lana.” Lana spoke softly as the click of a door sounded gently with soft thuds of soles against solid flooring.
“Doctor, how is she?” Draven spoke from my right side as his large, warm palm stroked my arm.
“She’s healing nicely. The left wrist left upper ribs, and her left femur have strong remodeling. As long as she wakes up on her own, we should be in the clear.” The soft males voice spoke as Lana and Draven stroked gently along my cheeks.
“Can she be moved?” Draven asked softly as his fingers slipped through my tender locks.
“Yes. She is stable enough to move.” The soft male spoke with a soft sigh.
Soft thuds approached my left, feeling cold, sterilized fingers run along my jaw, down into my neck, pushing gently along my collarbone. Bright flashing light, sweeping over the blackness with a heavy groan.
“What was that?” Lana shouted excitedly from below my feet.
“I think someone is fixing to wake.” Soft male spoke again as bright flashing swept over the blackness, causing my hand to jerk upright, smacking the light away with a growl.
“JESUS CHRIST! What was that?” The soft voice, shouted in panic as Lana and Draven laughed softly, feeling warmth stroke up my arm.
“Onyx, honey. Wake-up.” Draven spoke softly to my ear, feeling the urge to open my eyes.
Groaning with a heavy rasp as the heavy pieces of skin lifted from the blackness, casting a blinding blur of light, draping my arm over my eyes to focus better against the raging thumping in my head.
“Lights! Kill the lights.” Lana shouted panicky as the blinding light dimmed against the blur of colors.
Blinking away the heaviness as three shadows, slowly developed into a broad chested male with silvery-white hair and bright green eyes that seemed to glow in the dimly lit room. A woman slightly shorter with long silvery locks and same bright green eyes.
“Onyx sweetheart, do you know us?” Lana spoke with her hands, understanding her gestures.
Nodding “no”. Her face sunk in sadness as she looked up to the tall male with a sad glint in his eye.
“She might have “amnesia” from a fall like that. She’s lucky she landed in fresh snow that helped soften the landing.” The shorter male spoke with a white coat over a flannel shirt with thin silver glasses casing his soft brown eyes.
“Onyx. This is Pap Draven and I’m Mam Lana. We’re you’re gran…. family.” Lana hesitated as she scooped my free hand into hers with a soft smile.
“Where am I?” I signed with my hand, not knowing why I knew how to sign.
Attempting to speak as a hoarse, rasp slipped past my lips, feeing like my throat had been seared by a hot poker.
