Chapter 6: "My Bride"

Onyx:

All three stood in awe with darkened eyes as the hanger hit the spot perfectly with a triumphant exhale. They were like stuck in a trance, staring at me but not at me.

Snapping my fingers to get their attention as my stomach growled angrily.

“Right. Um…chicken noodle soup, homemade of course and grilled cheese.” Mikkel laughed softly as Birgir grabbed the rolling laptop table adjusting the height, while Davyn covered my legs with a soft, fuzzy blanket that felt like soft fur.

Knocking drew my attention as Mam and Pap walked in, making me feel excited as my smile grew in intensity.

“Onyx, sweetheart.” Mam embraced me gently as she kissed my cheek sweetly, looking at the soup and grilled cheese made to perfection.

“You boys behaving?” Pap raised his brow with his arms crossed over his broad chest, while the three hunks hung their heads.

“Yes, Sir.” They replied smoothly as a soft giggle escaped my lips with a smile.

The room lit up with their bright smiles, taking an eager bite out of the sandwich with a satisfied sigh. Tasting the warm, chicken noodle soup with an eye roll of bliss as everyone took a seat. Mam and Pap sat on the sofa, while the “hunks” sat on the floor casually with their arms draped over their knees, watching me eat every last bite.

Exhaling lightly as they seemed to be in a silent conversation, nodding their heads and soft scoffs as I stretched out my body, feeling cramped.

“Onyx, sweetheart. Do you remember what happened?” Pap leaned forward with a soft smile as Mam rubbed his back smoothing out the subtle sadness that flashed across his eyes.

A flash of panic rushed over me, seeing five sets of soft, glowing orbs stare at me with questioning expressions. Shifting backwards slightly as the one called, Birgir nodded his head softly for me to speak. Flinching as they stood, walking towards me.

“Don’t worry, we won’t hurt you.” Birgir smiled softly as he pointed to the pillows behind my back.

“Just want you more comfortable.” Davyn smiled softly as he propped my casted leg up with spare pillows.

“We won’t bite.” Mikkel playfully snapped his teeth at me, winking with a sly smirk as he pulled the purple blanket over my feet.

I’m dreaming. YEAH! Dreaming.

Flinching as my nail dug firmly into my palm with a sharp pinch.

Okay, not a dream.

“Onyx, sweetheart.” Mam spoke softly as my eyes snaped to her gentle gaze, pulling me out of the clouds.

Exhaling deeply as I thought about my memory, lifting my hands in hesitation.

“My only memory…was waking up to voices, your voices, and that hospital. It’s a black mess before that.” My hands slowed as I thought harder at the question.

Low grumbling grunts, and huffs echoed through the room, startling me with a squeak.

“Easy Onyx. We’re just a little upset.” Davyn smiled softly as he sat with his head hung back, staring at whatever was along the ceiling.

“How is she to remember, if it’s all blackness?” Mikkel huffed darkly as his head laid gently against the bed rail, looking at me softly like I was an “Angel”.

His soft gaze made the swirling heat, creep through my body with a deep throbbing.

“She was found as the base of Mount Asgard, maybe.” Birgir spoke firmly as his eyes reflected the soft illumination of his phone as his finger trailed down the screen.

A soft smirk ticked gently at the corner of his lips, tapping on the screen as he turned to me.

“Onyx, does this help?” He asked softy as he held his phone up displaying a weird, mountain with a flat top, spilt down the center covered in white, fluffy snow.

A bright flash with a heavy banging behind my eyes, feeling panicked as a dark timber voice laughed evilly.

“Princess.” It spoke with a sinister edge, feeling my heart thudding rapidly against my chest hearing a dark hissing noise.

Shaking my head in fear as hot tears streamed steadily down my cheeks, feeling like something evil No! a “Monster” was stalking me in the shadows.

“Onyx, baby calm down.” Birgir held firmly to my shoulders to ease my panic but amplified it with the electrified sensation surging through my body as his warm palms slid to my upper arms.

Another bright flash of light as my body began to tremble, jerking violently against the headboard.

“SHIT! She’s seizing.” Mikkel shouted nervously.

Davyn and Mikkel quickly jumped into bed to hold my flailing arms in place, while Birgir straddled my waist, holding my cheeks with his thumbs pressed gently in my mouth to keep my tongue from lodging in my throat.

“Onyx, focus on us Angel.” Mikkel cooed to my ear softly as his warm palm squeezed my hand gently.

“Onyx, sweetheart. Fight it!” Mam exhaled shakily as Pap held her tight to his chest as his eyes held a deep sadness.

Clenching my eyes shut as my body jerked and trembled in fear as another flash of light thrusted me forward to a man with serpent eyes black as tar, and a slithering, pronged tongue.

“My Bride.” His hissing laugh sank my body in dread as blackness shot over my body.

“Onyx, baby. Open your eyes.” Davyn nervously spoke as his warmth cupped my other hand, covered in that white cast.

Loud, erratic beeping filled the darkness as hot breath fanned along my face in relief.

“Whatever she saw, scared the “Living Shit” out of her.” Mikkel snapped sharply as his warm hand, held mine with a calming sensation.

“We need to check that Mountain out.” Davyn spoke firmly, brushing his soft lips across my hand, giggling silently at the tingling sensation.

“Mam, Pap. Stay with her.” Birgir spoke with a hesitation as his palms caressed my cheeks, brushing his thumbs over my lips.

“No need to ask. Go, but be safe.” Mam spoke softly as the three prominent energies shifted from the bed, leaving my body feeling cold.

“Thank you.” All three spoke in unison, sounding as one with soft kissing sounds.

Wait! No, don’t go, he’ll kill you.

Erratic beeping sent the darkness into a swirling mess, feeling the gentle warmth of a soft hand.

“Shush Onyx, they’re strong boys. Don’t be afraid, they’re to protect you always.” Mam’s sweet voice cooed gently along my ear as her gentle fingers stroked with a feathery brush.

“Be strong for them.” Pap’s gentle, timbered voice danced gently against my ear with the slight hint of a smirk across his lips.

“We’ll be back, Onyx.” All three spoke again in that weird unison.

Brothers. Fucking Hot Brothers.

Wait! What am I saying? I’m thinking like a sex crazed woman.

Fucking great! Fourteen going on Forty with a threesome of Brothers.

Focusing on the soft, hurried footsteps as the door clicked close, allowing the darkness to submerge me finally.
