FINISH HIM!

Swinging open his bedroom door, he roared at Alexus. “CALM THE HELL DOWN AND STOP BEING A BRAT!” Holding her neck, Alexus glared at him silently. “

What did you do to me?” His grin made her anger grow.

“You know.” He folded his arms to his chest. “You really should be more careful who you throw yourself at. Guess not all the infamous Pierce sisters are as virtuous as I was told.”

Seeing her eyes widen at his words, made him almost giddy. He wanted to break her, wanted to see her cry. “Don’t look so shocked, if you thought me fucking you had any bearings on what I truly think of you, you’re even more stupid than I thought.” As soon the words flew from his lips, Demetri felt a lump form in his throat. He didn’t like it. The words harsh against his mouth, the feeling infuriating him more.

Eyes red, he glared at her. “I want you to know that you deserve everything that’s about to happen to you. Every bit of loneliness, every bit of pain I inflict. I won’t even have to lay a hand on you to break you and I WILL break you, Alexus. You won’t have an ounce of hope left, and I’ll relish seeing it leave your eyes.” Alexus's lip quivered.

“I-I want my sisters.” He sneered.

“WAKE UP ALEXUS! You don’t have sisters anymore. YOU BELONG TO ME NOW AND AS SUCH, YOU WILL DO WHAT THE FUCK I SAY!” He tossed a towel in her direction. “Now, clean yourself off. I don’t want you to smell of me.”

Alexus stared at him in bewilderment and then to his surprise, she laughed. A hard chuckle that didn’t reach her eyes, and for some reason, it made him uncomfortable. Watching her remove her earrings, he tilted his head in confusion it growing as she removed her heels. “Did you hea-“ His sentence was promptly interrupted as the first shoe connected with his head. Alexus fumed.

“WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING TO?!” Hurling the other shoe, she watched it hit him again. Turning, her eyes locked onto another object and she picked it up and aimed at him once more.

“HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?!” Alexus laughed wildly before throwing the lamp it shortly shattering over his head.

“YOU WANTED CALM-“ She screamed, and for a moment Demetri swore her head spun around her neck. “I’LLLLLL GIVE YOU CALM DRACULA!” Demetri’s mouth dropped in horror as he saw the small-framed new vampire picked up his armoire. She charged at him.

“PUT THAT DOWN!”

“DON’T TELL ME WHAT THE FUCK TO DO!” Demetri’s body flew into the wall as Alexus used the piece of furniture to hit him with all her might. “NOW GET OUT BEFORE I USE THE CHANDELIER COUNT ORLOCK!” She screamed.

Scrambling to his feet, Demetri ran from the room locking the door. He raced down the stairs to Morgan and Rachel who were trying their best to stifle a laugh.

“So…how did your speech go?” Morgan asked sweetly.

“THAT DEVIL BAT HIT ME WITH A FUCKING ARMOIRE!” Sterling finally let his laughter loose.

“WE KNOW! JORDAN HACKED INTO YOUR SECURITY CAMERAS! WE WATCHED IT ON YOUR TV! WE WATCHED HER BEAT YOUR ASS AROUND THAT ROOM!” Bent over, he laughed so hard he could hardly breathe. “YOU HIT THAT WALL LIKE-UMPH-WHEW OH MY GOD-THAT WAS CRAZY! WHY DID YOU GET UP AFTER THE LAMP?! WHY DIDN’T YOU JUST PLAY DEAD?! I HAVE DONE A LOT OF THINGS BUT I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN SLAPPED WITH BOUGIE FURNITURE!”

“FUCK OFF STERLING!”

“Hey now…don’t get snippy with me because you got a grade A ass whipping in your own house.” Jordan and Elijah finally gave into the laugher they had been holding.

“She didn’t even let the thing go, she literally held onto it and slapped you with it. Better be lucky it was empty; she would have REALLY torn you apart.” Demetri seethed in embarrassment as Sterling's huge frame rolled around the floor in uncontrollable jest.

“Elijah look up what constitutes as elder abuse because I KNOW that was it. SHE KNOCKED YOU CLEAN OUT OF YOUR ORTHOPEDICS! YOU’RE OLDER THAN JORDAN AND SHE DIDN’T EVEN CARE! SHIT I WISH YOU HAD A LOUDSPEAKER IN HERE, SO I COULD HAVE YELLED OUT FINISH HIM!”

Standing he pulled himself together. “Whew-Little Red take me home. I started the day with a wedding, and somehow witnessed a murder.” The look on Morgan’s face as she looked at Demetri, made Sterling’s laughter stopped. She walked slowly to him her eyes bright blue, the anger permeating from her body. Grabbing Rachel’s hansd they exited the room to go see their sister. Shifting the twins and Elijah circled Demetri who bore his fangs as they all prepared for someone to die.

“Let’s go” Morgan called to them as Rachel, and she rejoined them.

“Where’s Alexus?”

“She’s not coming.”

“Why?” Lips tightened into a line she spoke low.

“Because she doesn’t want to.” Demetri’s eyebrow arched, but he remained silent. Morgan knew why Alexus didn’t want to leave. It was the same reason she’d agreed to stay with Jordan. She was scared and confused and although she detested him, Demetri was the only one who could help. “You’re going to help her. You’re going to fucking help her through this.”

Demetri found himself conflicted. He hadn’t meant any of what he said he just wanted to scare her. He’d also hadn’t expected her to stay. After that display of unbridled rage towards him he almost wanted to beg her sisters to take her back. Yet, something was intriguing in the fact that she was staying. About the fact that she’d told her sisters no. He needed to understand why, and so silently he nodded. After his uninvited guest left, Demetri slowly climbed the stairs.

Growing closer to his room, he peeked inside seeing Alexus sitting on the bed. Knees to her chest, face stained with tears, her body shook as she cried. He didn’t like it. It was what he wanted, but now seeing it made him uncomfortable. Swinging the door open he glared at her.

“Great, now the devil bat is crying.”

“Fuck off” He cut his eyes.

“Do not speak to me that way. I allowed you to outburst earlier but trust me, it will not happen again.” Wiping her tears, Alexus matched his glare.

“Why don’t you listen? Leave me alone.” He rolled his eyes.

“You could have left.”

“I didn’t want to burden my sisters.”

“So you opt to burden me instead?” She turned her face and in a small voice, he heard her say.

“Sorry” He rubbed the back of his neck in confusion.

“Yeah well…I may have…overreacted a bit. Didn’t call for you to swing my extremely expensive furniture at me per say, but I can’t necessarily say I didn’t deserve it. Or that I’m not impressed with your fighting abilities.” Alexus looked at him.

“Was that an apology?” He scoffed.

“I don’t do apologies consider it a peace treaty. You will live here as you requested, and I will teach you how to live as a vampire as you are now a part of my clan.” Her eyes widened.

“You’re in charge?” He couldn’t help but laugh.

“Yes, the proper term is Primus. Also something you will learn.” He waved his hand, producing two bags of blood on the nightstand beside her.

“Eat”

“I don’t want it” He blew steam from his nose.

“You’re testing my patience Alexus. EAT or you’ll die. You’ve just turned, you need to replenish your blood.” He saw her turn her head away from him and he seethed. “WHAT NOW?!” She didn’t respond and he felt his blood boil.

“YOU DO MY DAMN HEAD IN! LIKE WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!” Seeing her turn her face back to him with new tears in her eyes, his reddened eyes calmed.

“I WANT YOU TO STOP YELLING AT ME! I want you to talk to me like I’m a person. I want you to stop acting like I’m supposed to just get all of this because you tell me to. I DIDN’T ASK FOR YOU TO TURN ME! WHATEVER I DID…I didn’t deserve you pretending to like me as much as I liked you just to get me to sleep with you and lower my guard. Contrary to what you think of me, I don’t just sleep with any and everyone.”

Demetri felt his mouth dry at her words. They sat roughly on his chest. He huffed. “You need to eat Alexus.” She shook her head. Walking over he sat on the bed, again he found himself surprised that even though her eyes were lined with fear, she didn’t move away.

“It doesn’t smell right.” He scoffed trying to manage his anger.

“It’s premium blood. It’s fine.” She shook her head again.

“You know how you get fast food because you’re hungry, and then you go home to find that your mother made all of your favorite food?”

“Wha-“

“That’s what it’s like. It’s not turning my stomach, I-It’s just not what I want.” She didn’t mean to continually test his patience, and she knew she wasn’t making sense, but the smell of something kept wafting in her nose and it smelled more appetizing than the blood in the bag.

“Fucking Hell..” Leaning past her, he grabbed one of the bags feeling her body still. He rolled his eyes. “Contrary to what you think about me I’m not that much of an asshole. I wouldn’t forc-“ His words caught in his throat, as he saw how reddened and dilated her eyes were. Locked to the vein in his neck, Alexus's chest rose and fell.

She’d finally found the source of the smell that’d be tantalizing her. Demetri smirked. “Ahh…I see now.” She didn’t respond. He tilted his head. “Alexus?” She couldn’t hear him; her mind all over the place. Taking his nail, he cut a small gash into his neck. As the small amount of blood trickled down, Alexus's eyes grew even redder. Her lips parted, she finally looked at Demetri.

“I-I” Demetri wrapped his hands in her hair and yanked her to his neck making her gasp. He had no clue what he was doing. In his entire life he’d never allowed anyone to bite him. Though many craved it, their bodies reacting like Alexus had biting him was so forbidden it was a law in the clan.

Yet as Alexus bared her fangs and sank into his neck, he realized that somehow in less than 24 hours she’d gotten him to break his own rule. Demetri felt the surge of electricity he’d been trying to ignore since the first time he’d touched her flow through him again, and he closed his eyes. Alexus groaned, her entire body on fire, and she gripped into his chest. Feeling his blood coursing through her, the surge shot down to between her thighs. Her hunger satiated, she jerked up and looked at him.

His face hardened he stared at her, and Alexus felt a chill of terror go up to her spine. Her eyes back to their normal hue, she wiped the blood from her mouth. “I’M SORRY…I SHOULDN’T HAVE DONE THAT…I“ Demetri captured her mouth with his. She pulled him close to her and deepened the kiss. Laying back, she moaned as Demetri nibbled on her shoulder, then took her mouth again.

He ran his hand against the thin material of her now destroyed dress feeling her shudder under his touch. He clasped her face. Her brown eyes darkened in desire, her lips plump from his kisses, she saw his blue eyes soften.

“What is it about you Little One?” He whispered; his eyes lined with confusion. Caressing her face, Demetri did yet another thing he’d never done before. “I’m sorry. You didn’t deserve my anger…and…I wasn’t pretending.” Alexus caressed his face.

“Demetri…’ He quickly pulled away from her. Standing, he ran his hand through his blonde hair and left the room in silence.

Alexus pulled her legs to her chest.

What was that…

She hadn’t been mistaken she knew what she’d seen in his eyes. She might not understand it, but she knew she saw something. It was the same look he’d given her when he’d asked her that question before. A knock on the door made her jump. Shortly after the elderly butler entered. “Sir Vamp has asked me to show you to your proper room…apparently this one has been destroyed.”
