I Want The Truth
WARNING:- This chapter may contain light sexual content not suitable for children.
When you fall in love, it is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake, and then it subsides. And when it subsides, you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots are to become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the desire to mate every second of the day. It is not lying awake at night imagining that he is kissing every part of your body. For that is just being in love; which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away.” My fingers graze across the words softly, their meaning imprinting within my mind, echoing over and over again.
Closing the book softly, placing it back into the shelf promising myself to never open it again. I walk out of the library, my mind hazy filling to the brim with thoughts. Did Deimos read that book? Those very words? Who gave it to him? I tend to do this, wonder of his past. I wish to know so I can perhaps understand more of him. His strength, power, insecurities, weaknesses. Everything. But that will always be a dream as Deimos will never let his walls down for me and it’s too high for me to climb.
Strolling past Deimos’s room, I halt walking backwards turning towards his door. I just...I just want a whiff. A whiff of his scent. I haven’t seen him since the day I received my punishment. A blush creeps up my cheeks remembering the feeling of it. He became so busy with his duties and I barely got a glance at him. If I try to talk to him, he would divert his path and walk away from me. I don’t understand why.
Preparing to knock, raising my knuckles to the door I change my mind. Keeping my ears to the door, I hear no movement. That means Deimos isn’t in. With a huge smile across my lips, I walk into his room with no hesitation.
However, I stop in the middle of the room eyes widening my head swinging to the bathroom door. The sound of water hitting the floor mingling with his groans and moans of pleasure fill my ears. What? No, God please no. Tears begin to form, he can’t do this to me. I am startled with the bang of the bathroom door hitting against the wall.
Deimos walks out with a towel wrapped around his waist and holds another rubbing his hair. His eyes find mine, my eyes widen seeing the tinge of red forming across his cheeks. Clearing his throat he strides towards me in one solid motion until our chests meet. Looking into my eyes, droplets of water strolling from the tips of his hair down to his body. I watch them reach their destination on the floor, their path of journey making me salivate.
“What are you doing inside my room, mate? My servant clearly warned you it is off-limits.” His voice like sugar, coating my insides with its sweetness.
“What were you doing in the bathroom, Deimos?.” My voice is breathless. I know what he was doing, I want him to say it. I want to see it roll off his lips. With a tilt of his head to the side, a hint of a smirk growing across his lips he moves them to my ears.
“I came undone to the picture of your red ass cheeks that seems to be engraved within my mind.” He whispers into my ears. Biting my lips I begin squirming to the need pooling between my legs. “Just one thought of you, has it up wanting attention.” His words sparking a fire within me. Rubbing my thighs together trying to create some friction to satisfy my craving. His closeness brings forth his scent that I was craving for a whiff of. His eyes notice my movements, coming back to meet my eyes.
“Touch yourself. Let me watch you.” He whispers, groaning his control. His fingers shaking. My eyes widen to his command. No way, in front of him?
“I know you pleasure yourself every night, mate. I can feel it.” His words making my eyes widen further. Bringing my hands above my vagina, he lets it rest there. “Show me.” His voice faltering. I see the curiousness blooming within his eyes.
Slowly, seeping my fingers inside my panties swiping across my wetness my eyes find Deimos’s. He is biting his lips getting ready, anticipating for the show I am about to give him. I slowly circle my clit, my back arching mouth opening in a gasp. The feeling beginning o bloom within my core. Wetting my lips, I begin circling faster. Knees buckling, eyes moving up and down his wet body adding fuel to my fire. I look into every detail from every peck to every ab glistening with water, to ever scar showing me the strength of this Alpha male.
Wanting...needing more inserting my finger inside stretching myself preparing for something that will never be inside me. I begin thrusting in and out maintaining my pace, reaching the edge I look back to Deimos’s black eyes. My thrusting increasing, growing faster. My loud moans of pleasure echoing, bouncing across the walls. With one last thrust, I release spasms of pleasure. My lower body spasming, mouth open with a loud moan.
I drop my head to his chest taking in deep breaths. Finally looking up, his eyes dark as night. His wolf wanting to claim me, teeth grinding jaw clenching. His control hanging by a thread. He slowly takes my finger, bringing it to his mouth with a loud suck. He closes his eyes relishing the taste. Swirling his tongue around it, eyes promising of pleasures his tongue could bring. Our faces move closer, mouths open lips itching for a taste of the other. His fingers slide across my cheekbone tilting my face to the side, bringing it to his in one sudden movement. He moves his face opening his mouth almost reaching me.
The sexual tension is thrown out the window with the sudden loud knock that interrupts us. “Alpha.” Ragon’s voice reaches my ears. Deimos let’s go off me to open the door. Ragon bows when he sees both of us. He says something in a very low voice and in another language which I can’t seem to understand.
Why? Why hide from me? What is so important and a secret that I am not allowed to hear or understand? Ragon’s words make Deimos’s eyes widen. “Prepare everyone, we must welcome her.” Deimos commands him, Ragon leaving to do the job. Welcome her? Who?
Deimos walks back inside quickly putting on a shirt. “Get dressed, we have something to do.” He instructs me.
“Do what Deimos?” I question him in return. His head moves to my direction.
“Do not question me, mate. Do what I say.” He replies in a stern tone, waiting for my defiance. With a huge sigh, I walk to my room to get ready. Questions swirl within my mind curious for answers. Rushing down the stairs I see the entire pack gathered in front of the main gates. Deimos in front and Ragon behind him. Everyone seems excited, chattering among themselves. I go ahead and stand to Deimos’s right. With one glance at me, he looks back to the gate. He seems nervous increasing my curiosity.
A black jeep comes to a halt in front of the gates. Silence smoothens across the pack but is disrupted by a loud laugh. I turn back to the gates to see a very beautiful female step out of the jeep. My eyes widen, her beauty overtaking my senses. Her light blonde hair softly flowing in the wind, her thick pink lips pulled up in a beautiful smile. I am a female and I feel this way, I wonder how the males feel. She looks straight at Deimos, her legs beginning a sprint. She runs straight into his chest with a huge laugh. “Hello, Deimos.” She whispers. Looking into his eyes she whispers again. “I have missed you so much.” Her voice sweet like sugar, small and soft as a feather.
Watching their meeting I grow more uncomfortable. What is their relationship? Clearing my throat to get their attention towards me. Deimos comes out of his haze and points towards me. “Theia, this is my mate.” Deimos introduces me. Her eyes widen with surprise and turn questioning towards Deimos. He eyes slowly begin to sadden and they turn away from her. This further agitates me. Who is she?
Turning towards me she puts out her hand. “Hello, I’m Theia. It’s wonderful to finally meet you.” Smiling to her words I shake her hand still wary of her presence. She leaves our side to mingle with the others. My eyes watching her every movement often catching her meeting Deimos’s eyes making my heart twist and clench. Who is she?
As the sun sets bringing forth darkness, the welcome ceremony they prepared for her comes to life. The lights sparkling and soft music playing in the background. The loud laughs and chatter of the wolves make it all livelier. Theia often sticks close to Deimos.
Are they just friends? Who is she?
Deimos feels my eyes on him and he looks in my direction. I quickly turn away from him not wanting him to see my doubts. After their conversation, he walks up to me. “May I?” Deimos always respects females unless they go against him.
Bowing their head with sly smiles directed towards me they all answer with “Of course, Alpha!.” Demos grabs my hand and leads me to his table. Theia watches our entwined hands with a look I can’t quite seem to decipher.
“Why did you bring me here?.” I question him while we wait for the food to be prepared. My eyes searching for Theia’s.
“You have been sitting with your wolf the whole evening. I know you do so mostly when you seek comfort. So my question is what’s making you seek it?.” His words taking me off- guard. How does he know so many things about me while I know nothing of him?
“If you need come along, you can always bring your pack members to here.”
“Really? It’s great, thank you. Deimos.”
“I have told you before, mate. I watch you. Now answer my question.” He answers my unasked question making me frown deeper. With a huge sigh, I answer him of my feelings.
“My wolf is feeling very agitated. She sees and understands something that I don’t but she doesn’t wish to tell me.” I tell him my truth. He looks at Theia who is sitting across our table laughing and smiling with the pack members. He’s hiding something from me. I look around at the pack members. They all are. Why? What is being hidden from me? Who can I ask for the truth?
Ragon pops in my head.
After the ceremony, Ragon leaves to complete an urgent job given to him by Deimos while I sit and ponder about why and what everyone seems to be hiding from me. I can’t seem to work it out as to why I’m making it a big deal. Why do I feel like I have to find out what is going on?
The lights are put off and all the pack members are all asleep with the moon high up in the sky sharing her light for us. I watch Deimos and Theia from my balcony as they drink and laugh to themselves. The soft night breeze blows pushing my hair across my face.
Feeling something under my eyes, I swipe my hand across only to feel wetness. I rub more. I’m crying? But why? I don’t have a reason to cry unless.. unless my wolf is upset. Why? Why is she so upset looking at them. Aren’t they just friends? I don’t sleep well throughout the night, twisting and turning trying to get some rest. But how can one sleep when their heart is wary and mind is filled with unanswered questions.
Daylight seeps through the windows in my room and I am still wide awake looking up at the ceiling. I didn’t even get a minute of sleep. Getting ready for my early morning jog, I see Deimos and Theia running in front of me. Getting frustrated I run faster in front of them and away from their sight. What is this? Were they together the whole night? I hate this, I hate these feelings growing within me.
The whole pack meets in the field preparing for training including Theia. Deimos keeps an eye on me throughout the training. I guess he has questions as well. I ignore him till the end of the training not missing Theia looking and observing Deimos and me. What is with this female? Before Deimos could get to me, I find Ragon.
“Ragon, come.” I order him and he follows me with no questions asked.
“Yes, Luna?.” He asks me softly.
“Answer me this Ragon. Who is Theia?.” I finally voice out my question. His eyes widen for a second but he quickly hides it.
“Theia is Alpha Deimos’s close friend. They have been together since they were pups, Luna.” He answers my question looking straight into my eyes. He wants me to believe him.
“That I know, Ragon. But there’s something you are leaving out.” I tell him without hesitation.
“No, Luna. That’s al-” Ragon begins to support himself
“The truth! I want the truth! All of you are hiding something from me. I need to know and you will tell me, Beta.” My voice growing louder by each word pouring out my frustration.
With a deep bow and sad eyes, Ragon leaves telling me, “Sometimes not knowing is better than knowing, Luna. My duty is to protect you.”
