"How much for the night?"

The old lady around her mid-sixties looked at Rani, dressed in her faded blue skinny jeans, a light lilac top and a brown hoody. With her marron duffle bag, she figured she must be yet another runaway.

"You in trouble kid?"

More than you can know, Rani thought.

However, she gave the old lady a ‘no worry’ smile.

"No. Just heading towards a party in Mexico.”

The old lady wasn't buying that, but she pulled out the key nevertheless.

“150 for the night kid."

Rani pulled out Jon's credit card and paid for her room. She gave her short thanks and went towards the room number coated in white font on her key.

After getting inside her little room Rani flopped the bag to the side and made a call.

Carlos Morino, leave a message. Beeped the voice message.

Rani shuddered to think why he wasn’t picking up her phone. Right, he’s probably busy torturing someone to death, (last time she checked). Rani couldn’t wait to hand over the diamonds to him and free her uncle from jail before the Alphas got to him next.

"Hey, Carlos it’s Rani. I've checked in just like you asked, I'm at Palm Tree motel in room number 510, so you can tell Vincent with glasses that."

Rani ended the voice message with a loud sigh and finally flopped on her bed, with her eyes glued to the ceiling aimlessly. Water bridged her eyes.

“Urgh! Why does my life suck?!” She yelled grabbing a pillow to her face and tossing and turning on her divan. It had been a busy day, running into one of the Terrotos, almost getting robbed at the store and surviving the killer wolves.

Meanwhile…

The Torretos were now standing right outside her room. They heard everything, right down to her miserable muffled cry. Damon cracked an amusing grin and was just about to knock on the door to give her his evening greetings.

Surprisingly Hector stopped him, by grabbing his wrist.

This was not like him at all. Hector usually went along with Damon’s plans. But it looked like things were clearly different, now that Achilles was wide awake inside of him.

D: Excuse you. What are you doing?

Hector didn’t bother replying back with his mind link. He let his actions do the talking for now, and pushed his brother away from the door, surprising Damon more.

Damon bit his inner cheek, a little pissed at his brother for doing so.

“Hey, watch the suit, it’s new.”

{A}: Here’s the part where I don’t care.

"What the hell are you doing bro?" Damon was annoyed that he wasn’t sticking to the plan. Which was simple, grab the girl, get the diamonds and go back home. However, Hector had other plans.

“This isn’t right.”

Damon scoffed.

“Of course, it isn’t right. So, I’m going to go in there and make things right.”

{A}: I’d like to see you try!

{H}: Calm down Achilles.

{A}: I am calm. Damon’s just acting like that girl’s stolen candy from him.

{H}: To be fair, it’s not just candy. That’s rare expensive ‘candy’ we need to get back.

“Why are you stopping me anyway?” Damon trying to see if Hector had his inner beast on a leash.

“Because. She’s crying.”

{A}: She’s been through a lot today; we need to give her a break.

Damon chuckled and rolled his eyes.

“Well boo-f^cking-hoo princess, I’m going in there.”

{A}: No you’re not!

Hector shoved his brother against the wall and Damon looked back at him sighing out of annoyance. He retaliated by shoving Hector back with equal force, and pinned his wrists against the wall, growling darkly at him.

{A}: Oohh..I’m so scared.

{H}: Shutup Achilles!

Both of their forces had caused quite the cracks on the side walls.

“Stop ruining my suit!”

“Stop trying to go in there and trying to act like an Alpha douchebag!”

“What’s your problem!? The plan is simple, we go in there and we get what we want!” Damon glowed his eyes red showing great dominance. The growing tension of feuding with each other was growing by the second, with both of them. They’d never argued like this in over a century.

Before Hector could reply with his own mean growl, a nearby door creaked open.

“What’s all that noise?” Asked out the angry aged voice.

Damon let go of Hector who adjusted his slipping glasses from his face and brightly turned around to greet the lady with his charming smile, all whilst adjusting his crooked black tie, all thanks to Hector’s aggression.

“Sorry for the commotion mam.”

The senior elderly lady in her early seventies looked back at the young men. She had roll-ons on her hair and wore a long red and white dye and dye tunic.

“You two look like a cheap salesman.”

{A}: I couldn’t agree more, I hate this suit, Hector, why is everything so tight in this century?

Damon restrained his growl at her. He was p!ssed at Hector for coming in his way, and although he loved old ladies at her, Damon wished to rip her heart out and shove it back down her throat, for the insult she spat.

D: It’s Armani you old hag!

H: Yeah I don’t think she cares bro.

D: Shut up Hector, this is your fault.

Hector brushed some dust off his shoulders, whilst being completely poker face about the ruckus he caused. Damon on the other hand gave a tight smile back at the wrinkles.

“We’re not salesmen, mam.” He spoke in his humble kind demeanour.

{A}: What’s Armani?

{H}: Expensive $hit.

{A}: Then what are we wearing?

{H}: Gucci

{A}: What’s that?

{H}: Also expensive $hit.

“Well good, 'cause they’re annoying as hell!”

The cranky old woman then noticed the big damaged walls against the walls. She looked back at them.

“Which one of you did that?” She asked masking her fear. She took notice that they weren’t ordinary folk.

Hector pointed at Damon, who slapped his hand away. Damon was just about to speak when the old lady him beat him to it.

“Well, do me a favour, take your lover's quarrel someplace else!” She slammed the door leaving them both speechless.

{A}: What?! First of all EWW. We're related, so barf right there. Oh no, lady, we don’t swing that way.

{H}: Hmm, I bet she reads YAOI

{A}: What's that?

{H}: Google it.

{A}: What's google?

{H}: A search engine.

{A}: What the f^ck is a search engine?

Damon went to knock on her door, to clear up the misunderstanding.

“Hey, FYI this is ARMANI and we’re brothers!”

“That’s even more twisted!”

“You sick old hag, open up!” He banged on the door angrily.

“Not on my watch you cheep looking psycho! What are you going to do, you sissy! You’ll huff and puff and break the door down?! Go on I dare you, you stupid wolves! I’ve got silver on me ya j4ck4$$!!!” She taunted, getting on Damon’s nerves. Clearly, she had a clue as to what they were. No human could ever damage such a sturdy brick wall like that.

Silver?! What had she been watching TV too much?

Silver was nothing but a myth, it didn’t really burn them, the only thing that could burn them grew in the coldest regions of Alaska.

“Yeah, well I have MMMM!!!”

Hector clamped his mouth shut and pulled Damon away before he got tempted to pull out a gun and really scare the soul out of her.

“I know you’re on edge and you want to kill that old hag, but do we really need the cops snooping this place out for a dead body?”

Damon calmed his angry tension and decided to hear his dear brother out.

“Well, what do you want us to do genius?" Sarcasm dripped from his anger.

Hector cracked a grin.

“I’m glad you asked, I have an idea.”

Damon gave him a look of disbelief.

"Your ideas get us into trouble, most of the time, no scratch that all the time."

Damon was right, but now that Achilles was awake inside of him, things were different.

"Will you just hear me out? I can do this."

"Do what exactly?" Damon asked curiously.

"I can get you your diamonds and Carlito." Hector glowed his eyes with a clear vengeance.

”Then tell me what’s your plan.”
