Introductions

After Roxie and I finished eating she showed me the packs garden. "This is where we grow our fruits and vegetables. The Alpha found it more useful just to grow our own that way we save and the rest of the packs money can go to other things like protection. Infact, it saves in traveling cost civilization is four hours away from us. Considering we are the most dangerous pack out there there are many who would like to be known as the one who took down Alpha Damien. Like he would ever let that happen. But you know some wolves just have to learn the hard way I guess? So I would definitly say this garden has been successful."

"The pack is alot different than the one I came from."

"How so? I mean what was your other pack like?"

"It was more brutal. The omegas were treated like nothings the only ones that matter were the higher ranks. They were the only ones that served a purpose so said Alpha Jethro. That was his belief. The Alpha and the Beta and even the warriors were to be praised after all, they were the ones who trained every day therefore, they should be the ones who should be praised and only them. And not to mention it was even worse for the ones without a rank such as, well me. Even the omegas talked down to me and they knew what it was like to be talked down too."

It took me a minute to realize Roxie stopped walking and looked at me with sad eyes " I'm sorry you had to go through all that. But that just shows how strong you really are. But I can promise you this the omegas here don't tolerate bullying or talking down to people no matter the rank. I truly believe you are where you are supposed to be." Then she did something I was not expecting she... she hugged me. I was to astonished. Then suddenly I wrapped my arms wrapped around her waist and for the first time in my life I felt like I had a true friend by my side. Tears started to spill out my eyes as we just held each other. Once she finally releasted me I noticed that she had tear filled eyes as well. As if she could feel my pain. She then put her hands on my face and wiped away my tears.

Once we were able to dry our eyes. Roxie began to speak " shall we continue with our tour around the pack house?"

I gave a slight nod and we continued on our way down the dirt path.

Through out the tour I couldn't help but to find myself noticing the small details of each pack house like each one even though they seemed identical the small details seemed to set them apart. Like one had more plants surrounding the house and another had more rooms however, as far as the lay out they seemed to be the same. I wish this day would go on forever. But just like always fate seemed to have different plans for me for the day. Because as usual as I am deep in my thoughts I wasn't looking where I was going until I bumped into him. Of all people why did it have to be him. We both fell with him landing on his back and me on top of him, of all the positions why did I have to land on top. Roxie as if sensing my perdicament rushes over towards us. " Oh my god Stella are you ok?"

"Yes I-I'm fine." I say as I get up my face probably blushing red at this very moment.

I soon turned to face Alpha Damien. He was red but not the type of red where you would just assume he might be blushing because of the embarrassing situation that we were in. But I knew better he was pissed. As if sensing the tension in the air Roxie decided to break the ice " Good evening Alpha it's a lovely day for a stroll isn't." Out of all the things she could of said she decided to go with that. None the less, I was still grateful for the attempt.

Damien mumbled under his breathe " hi, Roxie." Before he got up and dusted himself off and just like always he walked away. I watched him until his figure faded away in the distance. What is his problem. I don't understand his anger towards me I never even done anything to the guy. Was he just mad because he had to marry me and I'm just some one to blame. Well I have a news flash for him I'm unhappy about our situation that we're in. I wouldn't agree to marry him even if he was the last alpha standing on the face of the Earth.

"Hey Jax!" I heard Roxie holler. As she was jumping up and down waving towards the beta and then all of the sudden she took off running towards Jax and jumped into his open arms. He accepted her gratefully in to his arms. I watched the happy couple wishing I had someone in my life who fancied me. The more I looked the more I couldn't help but to think about Garrett. If only I would of just listened to him and ran off with him sooner. After all my father was always leaving bruises on me so what would have been a few more. If I attempted to run away there still would have been a chance to escape right? Maybe it would have been a small chance but it was still a chance.

Then Roxie approached me holding tightly on to Jax's arm. She had a sad expression on her face, one that I was not used to. Jax's face seemed to be more on the neutral side of things.

"Beta Jax what seems to be a problem. What's happened?"

Jax seemed to be deep in thought as if he was arguing with his wolf on whether or not to tell me. I was not ready for the next words that would come out of his mouth.

"We're Going to war."
