Chapter 6 continuation

“What are you doing?” Laura stood aside and restlessly watched us.

“I disinfect her scratches from your nails. You can bring her some crap,” the guy replied calmly and, removing his hand from my jaw, placed it on my waist.

“And I? Jay, what about me? You chose me!” The girl raised her voice and came closer to us.

“I didn't choose you!” Shouted the guy and, letting go of me, began to approach the blonde.

His calm mood changed to a dangerous one. His gait became similar to the gait of a predator that is about to attack its prey.

“And now get out of here! And don't get on my nerves! You know what I can do with you!”

“I’m wondering if Haley knows about your secrets?” Laura narrowed her eyes and turned her gaze to me.

She plays with fire that is about to burn her.

“Shut up!” The guy growled and hit the girl.

I inhaled sharply with the blow. Her cheek flushed deeply, which meant that soon she would have a huge bruise. Laura stood still, not showing her emotions. It's low. Beat the weaker sex low. He did the wrong thing, and now I can hear his deep breaths in and out, realizing that he is pondering this situation.

“Get out of here,” the guy said firmly and turned to me.

“You hit me and how am I going with you now?“ The blonde asked, raising one eyebrow.

“And you don't go. Only she goes. Only with me,” the blond barked and, lifting the dresses from the bed, began to examine them.

“Okay. But when she finds out your secrets, I don’t think she will be with you, Jay,” the girl rapped out and hurriedly left the room, slamming the door loudly. “Remember what I told you. Don't stick your nose in your own business.” He warned me and went back to inspecting the clothes.

He has secrets that he doesn't want to tell anyone. Laura knows his secret. How did she know? I don't think he told her himself. She found something. Found what I need. What everyone is silent about, afraid to say it out loud. I will find it. At least I'll try.

“You’ll wear this,” the blond handed me a short white dress.

“Not. It's too short.”

“Come on?” Jay laughed, but the only thing I didn't understand was the reason for his laugh. “So you are not ashamed right now, but ashamed of a dress?”

I narrowed my eyebrows and looked at myself. Hell, I forgot my T-shirt was torn to shreds. Quickly wrapping myself in these two halves, I glared at the guy.

“In a few minutes, if I come in and you don’t wear this,” he pointed to the dress and continued. “Then I will not be sweet. Blame yourself.”

Jay walked past me and opened the door, was about to leave, but suddenly stopped.

“You'd better be dressed, Hailey,” the blond said finally and left.

I took off my torn T-shirt and jeans. Reaching the bed with bare feet, I lifted the dress and pulled it over my body. The dress was cute despite its short length. I combed my hair and looked in the mirror. Her brown hair fell in light waves over her shoulders. My face turned pale from the last days in this cage. Empty eyes. And a chic white body con dress. A shiver ran through my body and I looked at my bare feet, completely forgetting that there were no shoes. It doesn't bother me. Jay has to take care of this. I do not care. The door opened and the previously mentioned guy entered the room.

“Nice,” a smirk appeared on his face, which indicated that he was pleased with his choice.

“Joe, shoes!” Shouted the blond and a guard immediately appeared at the door with a box in his hands.

Jay opened the box and pulled out white high-heeled shoes.

“Here,” he put them on the floor near my feet.

I put on heels and was surprised that the size was mine.

“You guessed it with the size,” I whispered indifferently.

“I didn't guess, but I know,” the guy replied, and taking my hand, he led me to the exit from this building.

As soon as we got out, three black cars were already standing next to us. The door of the second car opened and the driver came out of there, opening the doors for us.

“Sit down,” Jay pushed me and I climbed into the car.

Dean sat in the front seat, and next to him was the driver. The door opened and a blond man sat down next to me.

“Let's go,” Jay nodded and the cars started to move.

“Is that the guard?” I asked and looked out the window, watching the cars. “These are our people,” said Jay and, taking out his phone from his pocket, dialed an unknown subscriber.

"Don't get too far away from us," Dean warned.

I ignored it, not wanting to say anything. Jay was on the phone, alerting someone that we would be there soon. After a while, the cars stopped and the guys got out. James opened the door for me and reached out for me to take hold of it, but I ignored the gesture. The guy snorted and grabbed me hard by the waist, pulling me closer to him.

“Behave yourself and I promise that nothing will happen to you,” the guy growled in my ear.

There were cars in the parking lot near the building, apparently everything was serious, since there was an immense amount of security there. There was a sign on the building that is so deeply ingrained in my memory. We went inside after the guards opened the doors for us. Unbearably loud music immediately hit my ears. Drunken people danced on the dance floor, hugging each other. There was a bartender near the bar and as soon as he saw me, a smile appeared on his face. I definitely don't want to be here. Nothing has changed here. The same people, the same place, the same friends.

“Go next. Keep up, ” the blond shouted through the music.

We went through the dance floor and went up to the second floor. The casino tables, the men and women and the guys who were sitting in the far corner, immediately rushed into my view. I definitely know three of them. They shouldn't see me. Dean pointed Jay to the other side of the casino and we went there. There was a game at the table. The men sat and placed their bets, showing off their wealth to each other. Their girls sat on their lap and flirted sweetly with them.

“Who came to us!” one of their company spread his arms out to the sides. “Mr. Foster and his...”

He paused, but then continued, glancing at me.

“What is the name of this young lady?“ The man got up from his seat and walked over to us.

“Hailey,” Jay said.

“Glad to meet you,” he shook his hand and took my hand, touching it with his lips.

Disgust appeared on my face and I quickly took my hand away.

“My name is Ryan. If there is anything that you need, contact me,” he smiled and sat down in his place. “Will you play with us?” he turned to Jay.

“No, I'm on business,” the blond sat down at the table, watching me.

Apparently the guy wanted me to sit on his lap, like these girls, but I stubbornly continued to stand.

“Go to the bar and give it to the bartender,” he handed me the key and then added. “Don’t even dare to run away, you won’t run away,” he whispered, and returned to his conversation with Ryan.

I quickly walked down from the second floor, hoping those guys didn't see me and immediately began looking for Jay's people. I can't give the bartender the key. He knows me. He will betray my past. Finally seeing Joe on the dance floor, I quickly rushed to him. Pushing people aside along the way, I wanted to get to him as quickly as possible so as not to lose sight of him. Some drunk guy slapped me and I walked away from him with disgust, as far as possible, while bypassing the kissing couple. A heavy man's hand rested on my shoulder and I stopped. I recognized touch. It is a cold massive ring. He came closer, touching my chest. I recognized his cologne.

“Look who came back to us,” the guy whispered in my ear that even loud music could not drown him.

I recognized him. He saw me.
