MINE!

Hunnie 🕍

Upon arriving to the academy today, I met with my best friends, Tenn, Lenah, and Carney at our regular spot in the food court.

They were all witches except for Carney. She was an only vampire child to two very rich and famous vegan vampires.

We all went out for drinks last night and they were all suffering a major hangover. I liked to use my dark magic abilities to trade energies with other beings.

Mostly using flowers and stealing their vitality. I always gave them back energy later on when I found something else, such as another plant or animal to give that flower back it's energy source. I continue the process until it's myself giving energy instead of taking.

"We understand Hunnie, but we can't even be caught practicing dark magic. Especially around ascension time." Tenn, She always follows all the coven rules.

I was starting to feel like a damn rogue witch myself. The ones who didn't want to live by their birth Covens rules, nor The Holy Council's.

Yet, here I am.

Always finding myself dropping everything I needed to do, to just get their attention. You'd think they would see I have so much dedication by now and that I am sorry for all my mistakes in the past.

Since they've rejected my ascension when I was 13, I've never been caught practicing dark magic at all. Although, I am feared by my other coven girls because of my abilities.

Everyone treated me like an outcast because I was born into a dark magic tribe.... At least I'm not harming anyone.....

The day at Witchy World's Academy had been pretty adventurous so far. The girl's joined me for my potion testing class and then lenah and Carney signed up to be a The Green Goblin's models for their new clothing line.

Tenn was busy all day running errands around Witchy World for the coven. They always work the young and powerful ones to death, literally.

One time, I was asked to enter this abandoned building in the Bronx just to ask the land of the dead for burrowed essence that the coven needed! It was filled with angry spirits that got extremely touchy.

I was stuck in that building for hours while trying to defend myself and while saying chants over and over again to open passage.

The coven sent me off without ever telling me that once I opened the portal to the land of the dead, it would unleash more spirits into the abandoned building.

One of the scariest moment ever. I thought I would've be stuck there like a poltergeist!

Around late afternoon I was making my way back home. Looking for an opened portal around the academy that u could take a short cut to. Opening a portal on your own could really drain your energy.

I loved Witchy World! It was so magical and only had two seasons. Spring and fall.

You can be yourself one-hundred percent here and learn about all the other supernaturals in the world. They also have the best organic and healthiest delicacies any witch or wizard could ask for.

A flash of horror twinkled in my eyes as I approached the corner of the academy.

"Holy fùcking shit!"

There was a damn wolf laying on the ground and basically blending in with the shade of one of the picnic tables I was passing.

'I ALMOST STEPPED ON HIM! WHAT THE FU--'

I paused my thoughts.

"Wolfy?!" I shuddered out accidentally.

'This can't be the same wolf I left back in the human world!' My mind was racing for how this could even be possible and looking for some sort of answers or clues.

My eyes began scanning over the features of the beast. The fur...The size...The...

"Ahhh!!! What are you doing here?!"

Deep green eyes stared back into my soul

I searched around the area to see if anyone, or anything was paying attention to me. It's him. I know it is!

"AHHH!! What are you doing here?!" I shrieked.

How could this big ass beast be missed? Why isn't everyone running away and cursing?

But then, it dawned me...

I'm in Witchy World.

Day Wolves and Night werewolves walk around here all the time! No wonder his sight hasn't caused an uproar like it would with the humans! But he's still much larger than the other wolves here.

"Wolfy?" I called him again, making sure it was actually the same wolf indeed. I put my bag on the table and walked slowly around to get a better look at it.

'Jeez what am I doing right now?'

As I got coser I saw a faint purple hue flickering over his fur under the sunlight. Finally, releasing the breath I didn't know I was holding, I approached the wolf. I was flabbergasted as to why and how he was in Witchy World. Is he a shapeshifter?

"What are you doing here?"

"Are you a student here?"

"Don't play dumb with me!"

"I know you are a man!"

I was whisper yelling at him. I felt deceived. I needed to get to the bottom of this.

If he isn't a man then why doesn't he act like a regular wolf? He seemed to communicate extremely well and seems intelligent. Like he understands me.

"Can you talk too?"

"I won't be taken for a fool!"

I stood there waiting for him to reply back. He was laying there still, panting with his tongue hanging out of his mouth. I started to feel a sense of embarrassment for even attempting to talk to it, but why was he here?

I left him in the woods eating. Did he follow me into the portal? Did he really eat that quick and jolted inside?

The portal only stays open for five minutes!

"Jeez, how quickly did you scarf down your food, big boy?" I asked looking over at his beautiful green orbs.

He sat up fully and stretched his hind legs before wagging his tail my way. As he approached me, I patted his head and ran my fingers through the fur on his neck and scratched at it.

The wolf raises his head up to look at me and his snout was barely an inch away from my face. He made me feel warm and happy. A happiness no one has been able to fill in a while.

"I'll call you Wolfy, sweet boy." I cheered enthusiastically.

"Hey Hunnie" I heard from a far. Looking up from Mr. Wolf, I see Lenah making her way to the table. She hasn't noticed the wolf yet, as he went back to laying on the ground and the benches were blocking anyone's view from where he was positioned.

"Erhh.. Heyy Lenah," my head and heart was pounding as she got close. He better not attack her!

"What's..going ..on?" She replied giving me a confused and cocked look with her million dollar smirk.

"Well...well.." I stuttered , darting my eyes to the ground near me.

"Well, what ?" She says while leaning over the table to see what my eyes were motioning at. Soon the smirk on her flawless face disappears completely.

"Holy Mother of Moon!," she gasped out holding both hands over her mouth and retreating from the table.

"Wait! He's friendly!" I said taking a step around the bench.

"He? Who is that?" She squints, before putting the pieces together.

"This isn't.." Gasping and lowering her hands to her chest, she comes closer to the table.

"Is this the wolf you've been seeing behind your house?" Her voice coming off as a whisper as she continued towards the table.

"Yes it is, and before you say anything I did not bring him here, he followed me!" We both sat down at the table going over each other's facial expressions.

"Well, what now?" She's asked, with her gaze settled onto his now sitting posture.

"Oh jeez he's a big boy Hunnie, I don't get how the portal allowed something born of the human world here."

"Yeah I have no—"

"Oh oh, maybe he's actually a shapeshifter" lenah says, cutting me off. She was covering her mouth with her eyes wide open.

"Hmm, shapeshifter? I thought about that." I said looking over to his glistening nose twitch under the sun.

"He seems a bit protective. Don't you think ?" She asks but I didn't see it at all.

All I saw was another responsibility in my life that I needed to get rid of ASAP!

Evidently, the wolf could read my mind. He places his big paw on the bench next to me and and raises his self to my face to get a few lickings down before I could shoo him away.

"It's ok, I've had doggies before" she says and gets in a couched position to start baby talking to him.

"Can I pet you, you big cute little thing, you!"

He watches her blank and his gaze moves over to mines. Like he was waiting for my confirmation or something.

He finally turns his head away from mines and takes his paw off the bench to go towards Lenah. With her bending down on her knees, the wolf towered over her easily.

"Oh brother" she murmurs before wolfy attacks her face with licks.

"Bleck!" she scrunches up her face in disgust, but continued to let him kiss her.

"I think I'll take him home now and try a spell out." I said to Lenah. "Plus, he's injured."

Another responsibility!
