Deciet

Can I be of help ma'am? Are you having problem getting into your room? His your key card working perfectly?"

A voice rapidly asked in succession behind Samantha breaking into her thoughts. She turned in surprise to see a young lady dressed in formal pants and shirt uniform with 'The Lakes hotel and suites. Room attendant Ann' engraved on it. Samantha was so lost in her thought she didn't hear the lady approached.

"Oh hi! Yeah, I'm fine. It's working fine! I'm just... Just considering something before going inside" Samantha quickly assured her with a weak smile on her face.

"If you're sure... Then have a good night at the Lakes ma'am." Room attendant Ann said promptly with a slight smile and continued on her way down the corridor. It was obvious the room attendant either find something odd about Samantha's behavior or she didn't believe her excuse.

Samantha didn't know for how long she's been standing in front of room 104, just staring at the door with the key card clutched in her hand... Dreading what she would find inside the room to warrant the doubt she heard in the attendant's voice.

She knew she couldn't keep standing by the door like a coward, room attendant Ann might decide to come back and what excuse would she give her this time.

She summoned enough courage, inserted the key card, and the door softly clicked open. She partly pushed it in and stepped inside, the plush, woolen carpet laid on the floor masked the sound of her heels.

The first thing that came to mind when she entered was...

'There's no way Justine could afford this room.'

The room was brightly lit. She knew it was grand and fit for royalty from the little she could see of it from where she was standing.

'This is all a mistake. It's either someone paid for it or Ty was trying to play smart with me.' She thought with a sigh of relief. Could Ty be up to some hanky panky with me after all... She wondered and clutched her pepper spray tightly in her hand in readiness for whatever Ty might have up his sleeve.

Then, just vaguely, she heard soft moans, which immediately became muffled, followed by deep grunts. She pushed the door further inside and walked on shaky legs towards the bed.

Her leg nearly caved from under her when she saw the naked body of her best friend lying face down and bottom-up on the bed while her boyfriend stood, furiously thrusting into her from behind.

Samantha watched perplexed as Diane, her soul sister wiggled and bounced back against her boyfriend's dick. She found the show of shame disgusting and felt sick to the pit of her stomach. It was so annoyingly disgusting she wanted to throw up, and she immediately started dry-heaving.

The sound of her retching brought them both back from whatever cloud they were in. Diane made a funny sound like a duck quacking and quickly covered herself with the duvet before she scrambled to the floor on the other side of the bed.

"Oh fuck! Oh, shit" Justine continually swore and grabbed for his jean that was carelessly strewn on the floor. He struggled to fit in one leg without taking his eyes off Samantha and fell over in the process of putting his second leg in. He looked pathetic.

Diane was expecting world war three, she braised herself for the blows and words like filthy whore, dirty cheat, man stealer... She knew Samantha was crazy like that. So to avoid that craziness, she stayed down on the floor to protect her face from any form of disfigurement.

Samantha's eyes followed Diane's movement and watched as she shamefully hunkered down beside the bed. She stood there, lost for words, just watching towards where her best friend was hiding her face in shame. Trying to understand why.

On the other side, Justine had finally managed to wear his clothes and was advancing towards Samantha...

"Sam... Babe... I can explain this..."

"Oh really!? Samantha took her eyes off Diane and look towards Daniel smiling like she's just woken up to a beautiful day with the promise of great fun ahead.

"Yeah lemme guess... Something like... It was the booze?... You were so drugged out of your brain you didn't know how you got here?... She seduced you?... You slipped and fell into her vagina?... Oh, maybe it was Diane who slipped and accidentally fell on your dick, yes? Which excuse are you running with Justine?" Samantha asked and laughed hard?

Justine was confused and afraid. 'She's supposed to be angry... Why is she now laughing at me like all is well!?'

"Sam, please I... This was a mistake... Actually, I..." He stammered on and on until Samantha couldn't bear it anymore and cut him off abruptly, bearly concealing her irritation for him this time...

"Look dude, I don't give a flying fuck about whatever excuse you want to give right now... You can go fuck a horse for all I care! That's how insignificant you are to me. You can have her okay, I don't mind. I just need some minutes together with my ex-best friend. Can you at least do that for me!?" Samantha said with irritation.

Justine couldn't find any excuse to stay any longer. In fact, he was glad to leave. The girl is acting crazy in a weird way and he didn't want to be a witness to it. He would try again when she calms down.

Thank God she's not the typical kind of crazy girlfriend who would go on a rampage of breaking and destroying valuables. He calmly walked to where he kept his iPhone and gold Armani wristwatch, both were precious gifts he got from women, picked them up, and walked out of the room.

Samantha followed him with her eyes indifferently. She was not mad at Justine, she was angry at herself because she knew who he truly was before agreeing to be his girlfriend.

Agreed, he was handsome and fun to be with but still, she could have done better than picking a gold digger as a boyfriend to help while away the hours of her lonely life.

'Oh well! It was fun while it last.' she thought indifferently. But the betrayal of her best friend? Her ride or die. Her homie for life... That hurt in a way words could never describe. Samantha appeared calm but was truly devastated by what Diane did.

They've been best friends for almost ten years. Inseparable for ten years. Did everything together for ten years... She and Justine had been boyfriend and girlfriend for just nine months.

She couldn't just fathom why Diane of all people would do that to her. Why would she risk throwing away ten years of friendship!? After her grandma, Samantha would pick Diane if asked to rate the few people in her life according to their importance.

Her gaze turned back to Diane who had raised her head from where it was buried when she heard the dead tone Samantha used in telling Justine she needed some minutes alone with her ex-best friend. Diane quickly knelt by the bed and started pleading with Samantha.

"Sam, please... Please... I'm really sorry..."

Samantha looked square into Diane's eyes, pulled up a chair beside the bed, and sat on it.

"Sit down Diane..." Samantha said Indicating towards another chair nearer to Diane, but Diane just continues pleading for Samantha's forgiveness on her knees.

"Sam please forgive me... I'm really sorry..."

"Okay, suit yourself then, if you want to remain on your knees that's your problem," Samantha said nonchalantly while Diane just continues pleading for forgiveness like she didn't hear what Samantha said.

"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry... I know I've wronged you..."

"Why?" Samantha asked directly without mincing words.

"It was a mistake..."

"I'm not stupid, so don't start giving me stupid excuses... There's no such thing as accidental sex Diane! Besides, this is not the first time you both are indulging in it so don't you think it's bullshit for you to start claiming it was a mistake?
