Emmalyn had always lived along, tucked away safely in her sanctuary. The thought that it wasn’t safe nagged at the back of her mind when she did have to leave. After all, she needed things she couldn’t provide. It was on one of those trips when they spotted her. She healed a hurt child. Now, the wolves and vampires both know who she is and where she is.

Taken with little resistance, they spirited away Emmalyn away in one of their wagons. Emmalyn was not expecting to be traveling in the company of wolves, handsome wolves at that.

Their prophecy differs from the one she learned. Emmalyn only knew that she would help keep balance in the forest. They taught the wolves she would bring change and rebirth with a golden trilogy.
