Male Prostitute

Olsen Groups of Company was in a tensed atmosphere as none of the workers knew what was going on in the conference. They faced their work squarely with each of their thoughts. Sophia's department was less tensed as at one time or the other either Henry or Drey gives them an assured smile.

Finally, the meeting came to an end without any of the managers being retrenched. The managers heaved a sigh of relief when they all got to their respective offices. The CEO was about to enter his office when he changed direction and went to the Secretaries' office. "Sir," the three secretaries bowed. "Who among you is Mirabella?" the CEO questioned. "I, sir," Mirabella signified. "See me in my office," the CEO left immediately.

The secretaries shared meaningful glances among themselves. Mirabella scurried to the office. "Sir?" Mirabella said with her head bowed. "You won't be resuming to this office tomorrow," the CEO paused. Mirabella was too shook to react to the information she just heard. "You will be reporting to the Airport tomorrow as their new head of hostess," the CEO said, " Dismiss," he began going through some files on his table.

Mirabella went back to her office relieved. She had thought the CEO was going to sack her. "What happened in there?" Ariana, one of the secretaries, questioned. "I won't be resuming here tomorrow," Miranda said with a smile. "And you are happy?" Grace was surprised. Grace is the third secretary. "Yes because I'll be resuming as the new head of hostess at the company's airport," Mirabella said. Ariana and Grace squealed happily. "You should treat us to a quick send off tonight, right?" Ariana enquired. " Sure. Nearby Bar tonight," Mirabella said as the two other ladies hugged her excitedly once again.

Sophia was about to leave her office when she received a text from William. "Mind if we hang out before you go home?" William texted with a winking emoji. " Where?" Sophia replied though she was wondering why William didn't tell her to the face after all they are in the same office. "KaySea?" William responded. "Alright. KaySea, it is," Sophia texted.

Sophia decided to call Katherine to tell her she would be coming home later than usual. "My forever beautiful girlfriend," Sophia hailed as soon as Katherine picked the call. " Hey," Katherine tried to hide the sadness in her voice but still Sophia noticed it. "Are you okay?" Sophia asked worried. "Yes, I am. Sure," Katherine replied. "You don't sound okay," Sophia insisted. "I'm fine," Katherine said and forced herself to laugh. Sophia who knows Katherine so well knew she wasn't fine as she claimed. "Is it Ren again? Just take him off your mind. He doesn't deserve an angel like you," Sophia said. " Yeah, I will," Katherine sighed, "So, why the call? What should I get for you on my way?" she asked. " Kat," Sophia called. " I know you very well. Unless you need me to get you something on my way, you will never hail me by calling me beautiful," Katherine said." Seems you know me better than myself," Sophia said. " Of course," Katherine smiled, " So, to what do I owe this call?" she asked. " I'll be home later," Sophia said. " Alright. Just make sure you've eaten," Katherine said. " Okay ma," the call ended.

Katherine stopped a cab. "Where ma'am?" the driver asked professionally. "Any bar on the east side of the country," Katherine replied and looked out of the window as the car drove through the city. Katherine paid the cab driver and went to the bar. She sat at the bar lost in her thoughts when one of the attendants came to her.

Jake was going home after a meeting which was held at a bar's VIP suite when he sighted the drunk lady from last Friday. He wanted to approach her but stopped on seeing her drink again. "Is she addicted to drinking? She doesn't look like one who is. Is it still about Ren?" Jake wondered.

Jake wanted to leave her to her fate but his instinct wanted to help. " She might be taken advantage of," Jake thought as he took a chair far away from the lady but which still enables him to see her. After seven bottles, Jake decided that the lady had had enough.

"Hi," Jake sat opposite the young lady. "Yes?" the lady raised her eyebrow in her drunk state. "What is your name?" Jake asked. "Katherine, the jinx," Katherine replied laughing as tears tickled down her cheeks. " Can I help you?" Jake questioned. "Help me? No one helps a jinx, right?" Katherine responded. "You are not a jinx," Jake said. "I am. And I know," Katherine insisted. "Is it Ren?" Jake enquired. " Ren? That cheat! Nah, it is not him. I hate him already. My best friend said he doesn't deserve an angel like me," Katherine laughed. " Your best friend is right. He doesn't deserve an angel like you," Jake said supporting Katherine's best friend's opinion. " Nah, both of you are wrong. I'm a jinx," Katherine suddenly burst into sobs.

Jake went to sit beside her and hugged her as he patted her also while she sobbed. After a while, Jake only heard her sniffing before she finally slept off. Jake booked a room and helped Katherine to the room. Checking his wristwatch, Jake discovered it was some minutes to twelve in the midnight. He decided to sleep at the hotel too.

He helped Katherine remove her jewelries and shoe before pulling the blanket up to her neck level. "Sleep tight," Jake wished her as though she could hear him. Jake had a shower and put on the robe in the bathroom before going to sleep on the couch.

Sophia was worried all night as Katherine didn't pick her calls. As a result, she couldn't sleep enough during the night. Sophia tried to assure herself that Katherine is fine. Maybe she just doesn't want to talk to anyone for the time being.

"Sophia, how are you?" Miranda asked after they had exchanged pleasantries. "I am fine," Sophia smiled hoping that the smile will ease her tensed up face. " This Sophia doesn't look fine not even with the eyebags and the worried look," Miranda said. " C'mon, I'm fine. I was just up all night," Sophia said nudging Miranda playfully. " That explains the eyebags and not the worried expression," Miranda said. "Mira, I'm not Drey who enjoys talking too much," Sophia said rolling her eyes. " Just say I'm a talkative," Drey said. "Oh! Good timing," Sophia heaved a sigh of relief. "Of course, you are and everyone knows that," Miranda responded.

As soon as Miranda and Drey began their bantering early in the morning as usual, Sophia skipped to her seat. She dialed Katherine's number for some time before it was finally picked up.

Katherine rolled on the bed several times before opening her eyes. "Good morning angel," Jake's face was so close to hers that she screamed and pushed him away in fear. "Sorry, I startled you," Jake apologised. Sitting up though with a banging headache, "Who are you?" Katherine asked. "The male prostitute you asked for yesternight," Jake replied. With wide eyes, Katherine lifted the blanket to check herself. She discovered she was still in her clothes and felt no single pain down there. "You are lieing, right?" Katherine asked. "Am I not handsome enough to be a male prostitute?" Jake replied.

" You didn't do anything to me," Katherine said with a confused expression as well as a surprised one. Jake laughed looking at the expression on Katherine's face. "You are cute like this. I think you should go about wearing expressions like this," Jake said stirring his tea. " You know what? Just stop this already and tell me who you are and how I got here," Katherine shouted trying not to cry as her headache kept intensifying. "Drink this hangover soup to help reduce your headache before you start to cry," Jake handed a bowl of soup to Katherine who collected it while looking at him in bewilderment. "Drink up. I don't know how to babysit or should I say adult-sit cry cry babies," Jake said.

Perceiving the soup, Katherine recalled it has the same scent as the hangover soup she drank last week. "Have you met me before?" Katherine questioned. Jake looked at her, shrugged and sipped his tea. "Male prostitute, I asked a question," Katherine said. "Will you drink the hangover soup to ease your pain or continue to question me while your head bang?" Jake responded. " You know you can't control me. After all, I will pay you, male prostitute," Jake said. " I'm not a male prostitute," Jake muttered. " What are you? Male sex satisfier?" Katherine asked drinking the hangover soup as her headache is becoming unbearable. Jake chuckled, "I thought you'd never drink that." Katherine was about to reply when her phone rang.
