Chapter 3
Third person's POV
Nivia grew close to her nine protectors after meeting them for several months. She introduced them to his father as her friends; his father agreed to welcome them every day to visit her daughter Nivia in their kingdom.
"How did the investigation into Blawnox City go?" Nivia inquired as she munched on peanuts in the Secret Chamber of the Library.
"The investigation went well, Irish, and you will be the one to enter that Blawnox City as a normal civilian," Lucas said, looking at Irish, who had become a close friend of hers.
"Nivia and I are allowed to enter Blawnox City, but what about the rest of you? How are you going to get in there?" Irish stated that she became talkative after several months of getting to know Nivia's personality. Still, they have adjusted to her because they will serve her. After all, she has the Auxier Stone.
"We can settle that on our own, your highness, we are no longer children, and we are strong, you know that, and we are here to serve you," Aiden said as Nivia finished her peanuts and stood up.
"Let's do this right now. What time will we be going there?" Nivia asked, and Lucas replied.
"We'll meet there at 6:00 p.m. People won't notice you two because everyone knows about the Auxier Kingdom, especially Princess Nivia." Nivia smirked and picked up her silver sword made by her Auxier Stone.
"Then it's settled! Then let's get ready because it's already 4:00 p.m. I'll notify my mother and father about this." Nivia spoke up, but the nine protectors stopped her.
"Are you sure about this? Do you always inform your parents when we need to fight someone to save innocent people?" Logan said, and Nivia considered it; she knows she is now an adult and must decide for herself.
"With all due respect, your highness, Logan is correct; you always inform your parents about it, but they don't care about your motivation to innocent people; you must stand up for yourself because you are no longer young." Nivia sighed as Lucas spoke.
"I know that, but I don't want them to be concerned about me because they are my biological parents. If I get hurt, they will punish you all," Nivia said, smiling because she didn't want the nine protectors to be punished.
"Go ahead, master. We'll wait for you here. We'll get ready," Wyatt said as Nivia exited the Secret Chamber and walked to her parents' chamber.
"She is so honest about herself. Do you think she will be chosen to hold the Auxier Stone forever?" Aiden inquired of Lucas as he prepared his belongings.
"It's only been a few months since we met our new master of the Auxier. We still don't know her secrets, but we should not doubt her just yet," Lucas said as the other protectors prepared their belongings and weapons.
Nivia returned to the secret chamber after 30 minutes to see if the nine protectors were ready to go.
"I've returned! Are you ready to go yet?" Nivia spoke as she went downstairs, and the nine protectors all looked at her.
"Why are you all staring at me as if you're having a conversation, and it's about me?" Logan laughed as a result of Nvidia's question.
"We're discussing how honest you are," Lucas said as Nivia gathered her belongings at the table.
"Would you like something to eat before we leave?" Nivia inquired, and Isaac and Jaxon, along with the others except for Lucas, nodded.
"Then let's go to the garden and eat our meals!" Nivia said, and everyone was relieved as they gathered their weapons and belongings and exited the Secret Chamber.
Nivia shut the Secret Chamber door, and they followed their master. As they walked towards the exit of the Library, Nivia bumped into someone who was the prince of the Auxier Kingdom and her brother.
"Brother? What exactly are you doing here? "Nivia murmured as the nine protectors showed their respect to the prince.
"I suppose I should ask you the same question: What are you doing here? I just returned home, and you already have many friends." Prince Nicholas Genesis spoke up, and Nivia bowed to him.
"I had no idea you were here; mother never mentioned anything about coming home," Nivia stated that she is aware that her mother is unconcerned about Nicholas.
"It's okay, and I'm already home; I know they don't want me to be the next Crown King," Nicholas said, Nivia looking at his brother, who smiled, but it was forced.
"Brother, I don't want to be the next Crown Queen. You need to help me; I don't know how to handle a Kingdom and people, even my father has seen my leadership and potential, but I am not ready yet. It is too soon," Nivia said; Nicholas looked at the nine protectors.
"I'll help you if they force you, but right now, I think they're just letting you know that you're next in line for our father's throne." But, as Nicholas pointed out, the nine protectors were taken aback because they knew the King and Queen were forcing Nivia to be the next Crown Queen.
"If I may say so, talk to your parents and let them know Nivia was forced. Don't tell her to be calm right now because the situation in her life is about to be ruined by your father and mother because she was forced," Logan stated, and the nine protectors became enraged because they were attempting to cover for Nivia.
"I'm sorry, but you're correct; I'm leaving right now, and I believe you're all very busy. Take care; I should be going soon," As his brother entered the library, Nicholas said to Nivia.
They kept walking, and Nivia wanted to talk to the nine protectors about how they could help her and protect her from everything. They arrived at the garden and sat in their designated chair. It was peaceful, but there were plenty of fresh vegetables on the acre.
"Here we are in our garden, where fresh vegetables are grown. Will I call the maid to bring us our food?" Isaac inquired of Nivia, who was dozing off.
"Oh right, called the maid to bring our food," Nivia started saying, and Isaac stood up and went to the kitchen, where there were maids.
"Are you all right, master?" Irish questioned Nivia, who looked at her.
"I'm fine. I just wanted to say thank you for always covering for me." As the maids showed up with freshly cooked foods, Nivia noted, and everyone smiled.
"Allow us to eat!" Isaac said. The maids placed the food on the table, and Nivia looked at her favorite food, chicken and meat.
Everyone ate their meals while Nivia sipped the wine in front of her. She is considering talking to her parents about becoming the next Crown Queen. Nivia was shaking to see a drumstick portion of the fried chicken, and the Irish did that.
"Don't worry about what your parents want; everything will be fine; we will do everything in our power to prevent you from inheriting the throne and becoming the next Crown Queen; you must write to choose your path," Irish informed Nivia as she smiled and picked up the chicken leg that Irish had given her.
"Thank you, Irish, you are the best of the nine protectors," Nivia said as the other eight protectors looked on in surprise.
"That's unfair, master!" Nivia and everyone else laughed as Jaxon said this.
