Heated Interview

“Excuse me, Mr. Forester, Miss Castello has arrived.” Jude announced through the intercom.

“Excellent, send her in right away.” Alex stood from his chair adjusting the fabric of his jacket.

Patrick turned to opening door as the lady stepped his eyes widened seeing the breathtaking brunette entering the office. Alex didn’t notice for was also he too was engaged in the beauty before him. “Good morning, Mr. Forester and Mr..?”

“Gates, but please, just call me, Patrick. I insist. Ms. Castello was it?” He asked, breathlessly and shook her hand.

“Gina Castello, it’s a pleasure.” She said charmingly. “Patrick Gates. Are you by any chance?-´´

“Oh no, Bill and I are not related. I was disappointed myself when I looked into it.” He cracked the smile on his face turned flirtatious and would not fade. “I bet the surname could get you in any VIPs without hesitation.”

They shared a light chuckle.

“He’s done it many times, actually, when he wasn’t on the waiting list of some exclusive clubs.” Alex added stepping between the two impulsively and shook her hand. “Pleasure to finally meet you, Mr. Forester,” she greeted him.

“The pleasure’s all mine, Miss Castello. But, we’ve actually met before.” He held her hand in his longer than he should. Patrick receiving the indicated territorial message soon excused himself to head to a next engagement he had downstairs. Before leaving he glanced at Alex poking his eye brows at him hinting his transparent amazement and jealousy.

“Pardon, but, I don’t recall any such encounter.” She explained, a little lost.

“It was rather quick. You were in a hurry last you were here,” he saw her face lit up with epiphany.

“Oh my, you’re the elevator jer...guy.” She quickly rephrased, pointing at him stunned.

“I wouldn’t put like that, but, yes. I guess that’s me.” He bucked his shoulders with a coy smile.

“I assure you, I had no idea it was you, Mr. Forester.” she chuckled, before regaining her professional composure.

“A mere coincidence, think nothing of it,” he said, then kindly gestured her to take a seat.

“I’m so glad to hear that.” She sat on the cushioned chair on the right as he to sit went around his desk.

“Of course, now shall we commence the interview?”

“Certainly,” Gina straightened her posture and crossed her legs.

“According to Derek, you are a highly recommended Translator. He tells me you’ve closed many investment deals over the years, some of Forester Oils’ very own too.”

“Well, I aided in the conversation and decision making process that’s true. However, the end result depends on whether my client possesses something that I can use to persuade their investors while translating. It’s what you would call sweetening the deal, you know, the icing on the cake and a cherry on top.”

Your cherry lips look tasty and sweet. Alex shook that thought from his mind as she continued explaining.

“Well put, Miss Castello, I’d say you’re just what I’m searching for,” he said truthfully.

“Thank you, I take it Mr. Jones has already shown you my portfolio?”

“He has, it’s very impressive. I have no doubt that you’re the right person for the job. Consider yourself hired.”

“So fast, I would have thought you required had some further questions for me.”

She blinked at him baffled.

“Are you dedicated and reliable, Ms. Castello?”

“Yes.”

“There you go. You’re credentials are convincing enough for you to hire yourself. I only need to know how your attributes pan out.” He stated spinning the pen between his fingers.

What arrogance. Her inner voice smirked.

“I agree, Mr. Forester. You have every right to worry about the loyalty to your company.”

She narrowed to him switching legs crossing them again.

Alex felt a bulge slowly rising in his under pants he breathed and took a sip from the glass of water on his desk. He nodded to her in response while noticing her undeniable determination. He couldn’t tell if she was leading him on because everything she did seemed enticing to him. “Good, now that we have settled that, are you aware of our schedule?” He asked.

“No actually, I was only told that I would be traveling for a total of nine months,” she clarified.

“Will this duration be problem for you?”

He kept his face normal already prior to the fact she wasn’t married or engaged. He didn’t count whether a significant spouse was in her life.

“No not at all.”

“The flight is Wednesday you’ll have a day to prepare. Any inconvenience you should let me know now.”

“None whatsoever, Mr. Forester,” his eyebrows arched at her response.

“I was confident in getting this job I already began making arrangements.”

She told him plainly. “However, you may brief me on the intended destinations.”

“Right, we’ll be flying to Europe and South America and visiting twelve different countries to meet with different investors regarding the implementation of subsidiaries in several different countries.” he further explained. “I fully in tend to close each and every one of these deals, and secure the worldwide subsidiaries for Forester Oils.” He spoke with sheer, sure-fire authority.

Gina recognized the demanding traits he exuberated he was hungry for success and had to have it no matter what. Maybe it was passed on to him along with the surname she didn’t usually give a rat’s ass about wealth men from powerful families. Though, the Foresters men’s popularity would always be displayed in Forbes magazine under the title ‘The Wealthiest Eligible Bachelors.’ Aside from that gossip passes from ear to another eventually reaching hers. They had been the main topic of conservation on many occasions from one generation to the next and Alexander Forester was the latest after his father was no longer on the market.

“I’ll arrange for Jude to send you the itinerary and other necessary information you will be needing.” he said, she remembered his skinny bleach blond secretary whilst in the waiting area. He seemed to be very familiar with her addressing her on a first name basis. No surprise, the pretty little thing would be like moth to a flame jumping when he told her to. She probably slept with him on the first day she got the job and most likely the reason she was chosen for it.

“Lovely, you sure can make things happen quickly, Mr. Forester,” she said batting her eyelashes, starring intuitively with her green emerald eyes. She had to admit that Alexander was quite a stud, blond neatly trimmed locks and perfect chiseled face. Only complimented with his distinctive, ocean-blue eyes, The Armani suit stuck to his firm body perfectly. She could tell he regularly worked out, supposedly in his private gym with his own personal trainer.

“I don’t like to waste time, Ms. Castello.” She nodded compliantly watching his chiseled jaw grinned two dimples became visible at the corners. Nine months with him definitely wasn’t going to be all work. It was clear he wanted to use the time to his advantage to get her into bed. Gina would have to go toe to toe not that she minded she loved to play games with his type. She planned on carrying out her job the best she could without her client’s making a pass at her which he would make.

“When will we be departing?” She asked, casually swaying her top leg side to side keeping her on her knee.

“Wednesday morning, at seven, my company jet will be transporting us.” He allowed his eyes to purposely linger downwards at her legs then back up to slowly to her face. He wanted to indicate to her from now that he was interesting, he already knew from her file she was single or at least in no committed relationship .

“I do hope that’s enough time for you to prepare. Women tend to-”

“It’s more than enough time for me. I’ve had many business trips before,” She cut him off. Alex looked at her for a second then nodded.

“If that will be all, Mr. Forester, I have a another engagement to attend,” She said unfolding her legs and got out of the chair not waiting on his response. Alex stood up immediately.

“Oh, of course, I’ll see on Wednesday then?”

“If I’m not there, pronounce me dead.” He raised his eyebrow at her remark. “I have a sense of humor.” She shrugged and left. Alex watched as she strut her stuff away from him towards the door. He was able to identify a feisty demeanor in her and somehow it intrigued him.

His mind was overcome with a strong sensation mixed with striking curiosity. Many women would throw themselves at him by the very mention of his name much being in the same room with him. Gina was definitely not like the other women he had encountered during the years. Her whole behavior was different towards than the kind the typically received. Yet he seems to have an instant physical attraction like a soldier ready to salute his commanding officer. He wondered what she had meant by being on many business trips before. She was a beautiful woman. He would imagine men swarming similar to bees fighting desperately for their honey. The men she worked for had to have hit on her frequently, there´s a good possibility she took at least some of them as her lovers. But if so, was she scantily flaunting her experience in his face? Maybe it was meant as a message to get the ball rolling. Well, whatever experience she had it wasn’t with him, thus, meaningless to him. If she wished to play hard to get he would gladly accept the challenge, after all, he always gets his price in the end.
