Ari has been alone since she could remember. She grew up in the woods away from all those who would wish her harm. Life made sense in the woods. You were either the predator or the prey. Occasionally someone would wonder too close and she would scavenge from their property, after all they are in HER territory. 

Mika is the next in line for the Crimson pack. Known across the lands as the Crimson Prince, Mika had craved his name in the pages of shifter history. He had effectively cleared every other supernatural from his pack's lands. Bathing the land in their blood as a reminder that only his pack were worthy to walk the land.
