#2 Albert

Putting on a smug look she said, "Oh. Coffee mistakenly spilled on it. Bummer, isn't it”? The queen stared at her knowing that she purposely spilled it on the dress.

The queen replied; "Lucky, I selected more than one dress for you to wear, no mistakes will be accepted this time around or I will be forced to hit you."

After ten minutes, Lilly was dressed and walking down the stairs in the lovely green gown chosen by her stepmother. The arrival of Albert Armstrong the first was signaled by the sound of a horn, "Don't you dare do something reckless,"

the Queen screamed as she dragged Lilly by the hand. "You'll understand sooner or later that this is the best option for you, I've had numerous exceptional men ask for your hand in marriage, and I've chosen the best one for you."

He was escorted to the dining table by the guards, and as the queen and Lilly came, he rose hurriedly to compose himself, but in doing so, he choked the table, spilling the wine.

The maid was to be called to the dining table to clean the mess made, "forgive me for the mess, the table was in my way," he said to the queen.

"Don't worry, the maid will take care of it," the queen said. "I guess I should leave you two love birds to yourselves."

"I am Albert Armstrong the first, a well-known wealthy bachelor recognized for my money, military strength, you name it, I have it all." He said as he approached Lilly, clasped her hand in his, and kissed her hand.

"I can't believe the Queen expects me to be satisfied with this man she brought before me," Lilly said to herself, putting on a phony grin and nodding her head.

"Do you realize I was never on board with this, and the queen is attempting to compel me to marry you? Do you think it's fair?" Albert was questioned by Lilly.

"Please accept my sincere apologies, I was unaware that you were compelled to marry me. Since the marriage is against your choice, I believe it is best to call it off.

I don't think you'll be happy if we marry because you were forced into it from the start. I'll speak to the queen on your behalf about the decision we've made.

I'd tell her that I'm declining her proposal to marry you and that it's entirely my decision."

While Lilly and Albert were conversing, the queen approached them carefully and said, "I hope you are enjoying your time with your future bride,"

"Yes, we're having a good time," Albert said, "but I've chosen to decline your marriage proposal." The queen grinned cruelly at Lilly, which made her feel a chill run down her spine.

"I hoped Lilly was not the cause of you changing your decision," the queen said, "but it was completely my decision." Albert replied to the queen, "I just feel I am not worthy of her and her affection."

"If that is your preference, I have no objections." Albert replied; "nevertheless, since there is no point in wasting valuable time, may I take my departure." Sara walked straight to Lilly's quarters when Albert departed. Sara's walk steps were so loud that you could hear them from miles away.

Sara screamed angrily, "Lilly, you dumb girl, what did you do, what did you tell Albert?" the queen reprimanded her as she walked to her room. "I just spoke my mind to him." Sara replied; "You made me look like a fool out there, you made him feel like he wasted his time and as if he was not worthy of you."

Lilly replied; "I just feel he looked at me without really seeing me at all." "Don’t think because you are a beautiful princess, you can have your way with anything you do. I'll teach you that your actions have consequences by locking you in your room for two days without meals and the queen slammed the door behind her as she left."

"I can’t keep living like this, this is not the life I desire," Lilly thought to herself while being locked in her room.

Lilly wrote on a piece of paper that, "since you want me to get married so badly, I have decided to leave the region and find true love and purpose in life.

Don’t bother searching for me since I hope and pray, we don’t cross parts in life and the next life to come."

She placed it in the queen chamber and rode her horse into the woods to meet her family members from her mother’s side.

This part belongs to the neighboring region where mostly werewolves dwelled, she was not allowed to step foot at Giovanni, but it was the shortest way to reach her family.

"I need to get to them before I get into any kind of trouble." The night arrived and the queen found a piece of paper on her bed, she read each word for word with so much joy on her face,

She burnt the paper and sent out mercenaries to kill Lilly, which had Jack as their ring leader. The queen placed a bounty of ten thousand gold coins on her head and she is to be delivered only dead. Jack was informed about the request made by the queen by his subordinates,

Luckily for him, he was already planning on killing Lilly, since Lilly is missing and this is a request made by the queen, he used this opportunity and got hired as a mercenary by queen Sara.

Sara thought to herself that if she kept it a secret that Lilly is missing, people would get suspicious that she had a hand in it, the next day. The queen announced to the kingdom that princess Lilly has been missing for months. The queen stated that this information was meant to be kept hidden from the public, to prevent confusion in the kingdom, we have searched far and near but she is nowhere to be found, at this moment she is declared dead.
