#3 Runaway Princess
Some people didn’t believe that the princess was dead, some groups of people were out frantically searching, but they had no luck, they were at a dead end.
The day after queen Sara decided to throw a burial for Lilly, within this burial a minute of silence was held
for princess Lilly,
“Where are you, they all were moaning and crying” even the queen had to pretend as if she was sad, the queen decided to say some spoken words about Lilly.
*“She was known for her beauty and kind spirit; her worldly appearance was not the last vision I had of her.
Icy flesh was caressed by quivering hands, celestial tears flowed from Galactic eyes. There was nothing I could do.
However, see how they flow into constellations at the base of this body, that wasn't hers in the first place.
As they strolled like explorers around the mapped-out planes of pallid limbs, they pinpointed specific trails, from pale,
colorless cheeks, cutting knives to prominent collarbones, down lovely arms to slender fingers, before vanishing into a completely new existence.
But instead of tears flowing from the depths of my soul, I poured the expected tears from washed-out lids.
They laid in piles of collapsed bones and let loose the aqueducts of Rome as they did so. I merely felt a strange agitation that wasn't exactly grief.
But it sank its teeth into my gut and pressed its fingers into my veins. Seeds of guilt were put in my psyche for not grieving properly.
which sprang roots and stuck to the inside walls of my skull, they remained there. But, as you can see, I was unable to cry.
When we are so much more than the skin, how does one mourn a body that is only true to the tangible world?
We adore our bodies in their welcoming embraces. Our palms were softly pushed against one other.
We admire each other's capacity to communicate. when we can stretch out with greedy hands and grab the hands of others who are also greedy.
Marvel at how pleasant it is to interlock greedy fingers of greedy hands just for the sake of doing so.
I only later realized that I was never wrong. Because of a six-year-old me, ten-year-old me, eleven-year-old me, twelve-year-old me, and thirteen-year-old me.
Who has suffered loss and pain as a result of what was nothing more than a natural occurrence, I had a feeling there was a lot more?
That night, I dreamed in fragments, pressure in the atmosphere; my body deteriorated into stardust and blew over horizon lines while I stared.
Into the unfathomable black depths of the universe's immense expanse, I believe it is now appropriate to mourn contentedly.
After all, at the end of the day, we're all just stardust".*
Meanwhile, Lilly was riding along the forest, the princess heard howling and screams that made her horse suddenly stop, her horse became restless and scared.
The fog in the forest was so thick and heavy that she could barely see her surroundings, but she felt another presence in the forest except for her horse.
She felt as if something was watching and following her, so she decided to stop and look around to know if she was being followed or if she was just in her head.
What she saw was beyond her imagination, to the extent that she got to chill and shivers all over her body, at that moment with the rate at which her heart was beating,
it was as if her heart was going to burst out of her chest, about two or four big bears were running at full speed.
It looked like they were chasing two more bears from their territory. She was scared as hell since all her life she was never allowed to leave the castle.
Lilly decided to rest at a nearby town on the outskirts of Giovanni; this town allowed any race of werewolves and humans.
To her amazement humans and werewolves lived together, without any discrimination or racism, they were never devil on the region of Giovanni,
just werewolves I finally understand how they felt to be treated as an outcast. She booked a room in the town.
The receptionist told her to expect a lot of howling because of the full moon, immediately she ran into the room and dropped herself on the floor, because of exhaustion and fear due to those animals wandering the woods.
Lilly said to herself “If they notice me, I am sure dead meat by now and I thank my stars, no marriage will happen next week.
It was not as glamorous as her chamber in the castle but she still felt comfortable for at least she had a roof over her head.
That night was a full moon so she had to hide in her room that night because she turned into a hairy beast. There was a lot of howling from the werewolves because of the full moon.
Time was ticking, within seconds she slept on the floor, the next day she thought to herself “my life has changed in just a day”. She was happy because the morning finally came and she returned to her human form. Since she is on her own now,
She decides to seek a place to work to earn money since she is already running out of the money that she stole from the treasury in the castle.
While roaming the town, she sought a job from an artist, whose shop was along the roadside. The artist was not surprised to see a woman in his shop.
Meanwhile in Giovanni’s capital where king Matteo reside;
Ever since king Matteo’s family and his sister Bianca died during the war, he became colder and distant toward his friends and subjects.
There were even rumors in the kingdom that after the war Matteo was not as kind as before, nothing seemed to please him except drawing, which he did during his leisure time.
Some people in the kingdom thought he might not be mentally prepared to sit on the throne, with all its responsibilities.
The king needed a painting, so the bellman announced that any famous artist might come to the palace and paint a portrait of his late sister Bianca in her honor, and he or she would be compensated.
Many artists used this opportunity to display their talent, each one of them drew Bianca into his presence in the best possible way they knew, but he was not pleased with what they did.
Out of annoyance, the king shouted saying “is there no one skilled enough to draw my late sister” words got to Lilly who lived on the outskirts of Giovanni.
When she heard that the king is looking for an artist, she decided to head to the capital of Giovanni where the king resides.
She got to the castle and introduced herself as an artist, the guard asked her if she is skilled enough to please the king since there were so many rejections that the king made.
Then Lilly said to the guards “well my work will prove my worth, Lilly was escorted to the art room, as they walked through the hallways.
