I started this read curious about the story and hoping to find something special. Unfortunately this let me down. The pacing is so slow most of the time that I miss when there are time skips, and I understand that this story is supposed to be a “from weak and naive to strong and knowledgeable” trope but this is a bit much. I definitely think the story has a LOT of potential, but seeing how the world building is working so far I don’t think it’s reached that point.

x1c5 I've seen this book advertised before. It's not something that strikes me as one I want to read. No offense to the author. I'm sure many readers will thoroughly enjoy it.
