Ethan walked towards the barmaid.

"Hi," he greeted.

"What can I get you sir?" She acted like nothing ever transpired between them.

"Do you need anything sir?" She asked again when she saw how strangely he stared at her.

"What is your name?" She heard him ask.

"Agnes, my name is Agnes," she quickly told him. She felt that there was no particular reason he asked for her name.

"Well Agnes, you must have this impression that I have forgotten all that happened last night, but I am sorry to say this, you are wrong," he paused, then continued, "I came to apologise to you for my disrespectful behavior last night. I realized I was the one at fault, so could you please forgive me?"

Agnes's face was a smug. "It's not your fault. You are rich brat, it's in your nature to behave despicably towards people you are better than."

She walked back to her post. "Do you want anything?" She asked.

"A word with you," he replied.

"You are already having one."

"In private Agnes.'

"I do not have time to waste, it's alright for you though, all you have to do is lie in bed all day but as for me I have to work to earn a living, so please go away."

"I will not take more than five minutes of your time."

"You have apologized Mr. Moore and I'm fully satisfied with that, I do not want to lose my job because of you," Agnes pleaded.

"Trust me, you won't lose your job."

"You do not seem to understand, right?" Her voice had a strident note in it. "Can't you see I am busy," it sounded more like a sentence and not a question.

"If you don't come with me right this minute, I will have to drag you myself and of course you know it will be a big scene," he threatened.

"What's going on here? Who are you not taking orders and who is this..." The manager left his sentence incomplete, when he realized who he was.

Ethan gave him an arrogant smirk.

"Good day Mr. Moore, do you need anything?" The manager asked in a respectful tone.

"I want to have a word with Ms. Agnes, but she has refused to talk with me."

The manager understood what was happening. "Agnes you can go with him, I don't mind besides I have heard that Mr. Moore hates to be kept waiting." He wasn't ready to lose his bar, so he wouldn't dare argue with the rich billionaire, Ethan Moore.

"Sir please I do not know this man and I don't want to speak to him," she said, it seemed she was pissed off.

Ethan brought out his cheque note, then he wrote an amount on it.

"Sack her from the job right now," Ethan said, handing the cheque to the manager.

"What? Two hundred thousand dollars to sack a girl? Agnes take off the working clothes and leave, you are fired." The manager was indeed a selfish type.

"But sir you can't just rid me of my job. You know that I need this job more than any other person," she was almost at the point of crying.

"People who don't know how to treat and value important customers, shouldn't work here," the manager snarled.

Agnes angrily turned towards Ethan.

"What do you want?"

"I want a..." She didn't care to listen, she walked past him and down the corridor.

"She just ignored me," Ethan said to himself and ran after her.

"Continue your work and stop staring," the manager snapped at other workers.

Ethan walked into the room where Agnes had entered and locked the door.

Agnes turned to see who locked the door, a chill went up her spine when she saw the look on Ethan's face. She was only on her bra now, she didn't expect anyone would come into the room but now Ethan was right in front of her, staring at her body with those lustful eyes.

"Please leave from here, I need to change," Agnes ordered, feeling irritated by his dirty stare.

"I can't go," he said, with his eyes intently on her breast.

"You pervert, where do you think you are staring at," she shouted and wrapped her bare skin with a piece of clothing.

"I am sorry, I didn't mean to. You are just too attractive for me to resist," he said shamelessly.

"You shameless man, now leave my room," Agnes puffed out.

"Ha ha ha," Ethan laughed out.

"What's funny?"

"I was only joking, but the reaction on your face, shows that you are ready to pounce on me right now?" He said in laughter.

"You have made me lose my job, what more do you want?" She said in a fierce undertone, moving around and grabbing her clothes.

He grabbed her wrist and swirled her around, "your eyes tell me that you haven't forgiven me for what happened last night." She swiftly wrenched herself free and held her clothes tightly, "leave to room, I want to dress up."

Ethan walked closer to her and held her waist. Her heart thumped against his chest, blood hammered in her temples.

"What are you doing?"

"I want to dress you," he quickly answered, locking eyes with her.

"Mr. Moore please stop all this," she said fidgeting. The was the type of reactions Ethan wanted to witness from her. Now making her to be his wasn't going to be that hard or so he thought.

"Shush, you will get back your job but in a higher position. I will buy you a post much higher than that of the manager. I could even transfer this bar to your name."

With a sudden feeling of excitement, Whitney looked up at him, "will you really do all this?"

"Yes I will and I could do many more for you if you wanted," he said and quickly pulled out the clothes in Agnes's hands. I don't want you wearing those work clothes, I want to see you in attractive wears. Agnes didn't realize it when Ethan started dressing her until he hands reached the third button, right where her breast was. She wanted to stop him but her voice got lost somewhere.

"You are so beautiful," Ethan commented, smiling at her.

"Mr. Moore you shouldn't be doing things like this, it makes me feel awkward," she voiced out whatever was in her head.

"With time you will get used to it, now come on let's go," he held her hand. Agnes tried to remove it but the look on Ethan's face quickly made her hand remain still. They left the room and headed to the manager's office. They stepped into the office after knocking.

"Oh sir you are still here?" The manager said standing up in respect. "Are the two of you now and item," he said staring at their locked hands. Immediately he made that statement, Agnes pulled out her hand from Ethan's hand. "No, it's not what you think," she replied to his question.

"I want this bar to be transferred to Agnes right away, I will pay you any amount you demand for," Ethan negotiated.

"I don't understand sir,"

"Hand her the papers of this bar,"

"What?" The manager asked in awe.

"Two million dollars for the bar, are you in?"

"No. I'm sorry but I can't give this bar up for just two million dollars," he said, he was cunningly telling Ethan to increase the money.

"Well if you don't want the deal, I won't force you but just know that I could make you and this bar disappear in seconds," Ethan warned.

The manager realized the wickedness in Ethan's words. "I agree to this deal," he stammered.

"A wise decision. I'll send the documents for you later, all you need to do is to sign on them," Ethan said.

Two hundred million wasn't a big deal for him, besides this woman he was spending money for would be his tool to getting more richer. His father was two hundred billion dollars richer anyways.

A lot of things were going on in Agnes's head, was this for real? Did this man mean everything he said? It was hard for her to easily trust him but she needed to play along. As long as she was gaining, she would try to trust him. She was so deep in her thoughts that she didn't notice that they were done with their brief discussion.

"Agnes by tomorrow the bar will be yours," Ethan's voice brought her back from her wonderland.

"Congratulations to you Agnes, you've found yourself a treasure as a boyfriend," the manager said grinning from ear to ear, like a child who just finished eating lots of candies.

The look Agnes and Ethan gave the manager, made him to quickly walk away from them.

"Miss Agnes, I guess it's time for me to take my leave now. I would be coming more often to check on you and to make sure you are not having any difficulty managing this place," Ethan slowly and carefully said those words. Agnes nodded to him, she didn't know what to say to him.

Ethan walked out of the bar and entered his car, he was about to take off, when he saw Agnes tapping on his car glass. He immediately brought down the car window.

"I need to ask you some questions before you leave, if you don't mind."

"Go on with your questions, I do not mind at all."

"Why are you doing this for me? She needed to know if there was anything he would demand from her for this favor.

"Come inside, I can't tell you anything with you standing outside my car," he said, opening the car door. Agnes entered the car obediently.

"Back to your question. This is my way of apologising to you, isn't it obvious Agnes?" Sincerity could bee seen in his face. Ethan was such an actor.

"Ok. So what deal did you make with him," Agnes needed to hear the agreement they made before confirming whether his intentions were good or bad. "I gave him two million dollars, in exchange for the bar to be transferred to you," Ethan said, without mincing words.

Agnes looked at him in disbelief, "you wasted such a huge amount of money for me, just so I can forgive you. Without getting anything from me?" Agnes asked, she needed to be assured.

"I am merely using you as a bait to my father's property, so stop feeling too excited," he didn't voice it out but these were the words he wanted to answer her question with.

"As a matter of fact, yes. I don't want anything but your forgiveness and trust, Agnes.

If only she knew how much more he could spend in order to win this challenge. "I can't really say I trust you but I sincerely forgive you. You have shown me more than enough kindness."

She would eventually trust him with her soul, her heart and her body. Don't miss out on this....
