Blush

Through my room's wide glass window, rays of sunlight splashed across my face. My sluggish eyes slowly opened.

My pulse is beating, and my mind is blank, even though my eyes are open. It's as if an adrenaline hypodermic has been injected into my carotid artery. My respiration rate begins to stabilise as I struggle into the absolute blackness.

I struggled out of bed and made my way to the restroom. When I glanced in the mirror, I saw a mess; my eyes were swollen from sobbing all night.

My skin hasn't changed colour.

Soo, I'm not sure why Aaron's anger so deeply broke my heart.

I've never wished him harm, and I've always favoured him, but I imagine he won't believe me. He'll always regard me as a traitor.

But who was that strange individual who handed me the packet with confidential corporate information that day, and why me?

What relationship does he have with Aaron?

I have a lot of unanswered questions in my head right now. I have no idea what to look for, how to gain Aaron's trust, can we ever live as normal husband and wife, I don't believe so, he despises me so much, but I will not give up on him; I will do all in my power to win his heart and draw the real Aaron, who is nothing like this jerk.

My maternal grandmother used to pack lunch for my maternal grandfather when he went to work. We are from a middle-class family, so it happened there. I'm not sure if Aaron will take a lunch box with him or not, but I will make lunch for him because it's my duty. After all, I am his wife, and I will do everything I can to win his heart and be a good wife for him until the contract ends.

Following that, I rush to the bathroom after changing out of my shower.

I wear a sleeveless red Maxi slip dress with my long dark brown hair open.

I next proceed to Amy's kitchen, where she is preparing pancakes.

"Hello, sweetheart. How did you spend your evening? "she said, pleasantly smiling

"It's fine," I said her as I slouched forward in my chair, remembering his rage and anger from the night before.

While twisting my wedding ring, I said, "Um Amy, did Aaron bring lunch food to the office?"

She said, "No, he doesn't."

"I'll do it from now on. Make and pack lunches for him on a regular basis "slack-jawed, I remarked

Her eyes twinkled as she responded, "Really?"

"You've heard about Eternity. Aaron is really fortunate to have you as his wife. I've known him since I was a youngster. His parents died when he was 11 years old, and after their deaths, he became a stone devoid of emotions. He inherited Knight's Empire, his family's business, which was founded by his father, but he was the one who worked so hard to grow it into one of America's largest multinational corporations "She grumbles as she drags her feet to the other side of the room.

"Oh, okay," I reasoned, "that's why he was so upset when the papers fraud happened. His fury was legitimate."

"All right, I'll cook him lunch," I murmured to Amy as I took a knife and began chopping.

"No, sweetie," Amy murmured to me, her brows wrinkled, "you don't need to worry cooking me and other maids are there, you don't need to."

"However, isn't it the wife's responsibility to feed him?" I said, my gaze fixed on her.

"OK, prepare him lunch; he is really fortunate to have a wife like you; I know only you can bring back the real Aaron who went missing," she smiled.

I gave her a friendly nod

After that, I got to work on his lunch. Finally, I packed my homemade lunch once I finished cooking.

Then, when I emerged from the kitchen and entered the living room, I noticed him.

Aaron, he is so stunning in his costly Armani clean suit that I can't take my sight away from him.

He's all prepared to go to work now that he's eaten his breakfast.

Before he could go, I dashed forward and grabbed his hand to stop him.

He gave me a small backward glance as he stared at me.

"Um, here's your lunch," I said, handing him a bag containing his food while looking up at him over my lashes.

He answered, "I don't need it," and stowed my lunch bag away.

"Kindly accept it." "Please," I murmur constantly under my breath, "you'll need it after afternoon."

He gave me a serious look. His crystal blue eyes glowed with an unknown feeling, which he hurriedly wiped away.

I then saw that his tie was not correctly fastened. I tied the tie correctly, and I can feel his gaze on me; he never blinks when he looks at me. I bit my lower lip lightly and felt a quick rush of cold that spread throughout my body.

"Done," I replied as I finished tying his tie, my gaze fixed on him.

"Done," I replied as I finished tying his tie, staring him in the eyes. He was gazing at me, and our gazes were riveted on each other.

I swiftly back away while looking aside, attempting to avoid eye contact with him. I know I have a strong awareness of my heartbeat and the sense of being inundated with warmth.

He turned aside a few seconds later, ready to leave.

But the thing that surprises me is that he stole the lunch bag I packed for him before leaving.

Even though I still have a flush on my cheeks, I grinned sheepishly at this.

I lowered my head. I don't want him to see that I'm blushing.

He began walking towards his vehicle.

My gaze is drawn to a file he is bringing down the stairs.

God, he's losing track of his files.

I grabbed the file and bolted from the home.

Chaflaur is opening the door for him, and he's simply going to sit in the car.

"Aaron," I yelled as I dashed towards his car.

He comes to a halt in the middle of something, his brows wrinkled as he notices me.

"You're forgetting it right here," I told him as I handed him papers, anxiously biting my lower lip.

He snatched them from my possession.

"Thank you," he murmured, widening my eyes.

Is it possible that he just thanked me, or am I hallucinating?

At this, I grinned, brushing a strand of my hair behind my ear.

"Welcome," I muttered as I looked about, my heart pounding in my chest.

Then he looked back over his shoulder at me and walked back to his car.

I entered the living room swinging my arms and humming "love me as you do," my favourite song.

He thanked me, and I chuckled as I covered my face with my hands, thinking to myself, "This indicates we've started to understand one other a bit."

I walk towards the Mansion's garden.

I gasped as I gazed onto the most magnificent garden I had ever seen.

It's just stunning.

In the rain, the garden was always a little brighter.

It was as if the sky's gift wasn't water, but liquid magic, cleaning our world to reveal what had always been there, nature in her simple glory.

Buttercups became gold, grass became the shadow of every dreamer's meadow, roots were quenched, and the soil was regenerated.

Following the patter of the rain, bursts of birdsong greeted them, their hearts thrilled at the rain's arrival.

Wow, I thought to myself as I gazed at the lovely flowers.

The rich aroma of the lilies filled the room. Their white petals stood out against the stone walls and were truly stunning. I saw that their stamens had been removed upon closer inspection. A hand reaches out to the beautiful pearly petals.

It's not just lilies.

The crimson velvet flowers move and dance.

Their intoxicating scent entices me to stay.

Its tall, frail green stem stands out in the grass, yet its golden, flowering petals do not.

I sat on fresh green grass, absorbing the pleasant scent.

It's a garden with a lot of scents.

Aaron's mansion features an incredible and lovely garden.

It's stunning.

While I was fixing Aaron's tie today, he happened to see me.

Not only that, but the blush and emotion I had that time when he accepted the lunchbox I packed for him and our eyes met on each other

What is happening to me, what are you doing with me? I never had that feeling while I was with Eliot. Aaron, I don't know why my heart started racing when he only looked at me; even his idea made me flush, but I smiled sheepishly after thinking about him.

While looking up at the blue sky.
