Chapter 6

"When are we going to have the tutor?" I asked Ethan and he turned to me

"After school, at the cafeteria" It's weird to see him giving in like this and I nodded

"Happy?" He asked and walked past me

"Hey Kim," I turned to see Jaden greet me. His friends looked at him weirdly and I felt weird too because he greeted me with his friend around

"Hey" I said and he walked to me. He gestured his friends to walk to class first

"So what's up?" He asked

"Uhmm Jaden , people are looking at us" I said looking around uncomfortably

"So what? So what's your first class?" He asked and I felt uncomfortable with the attention

"Let's just walk if you're uncomfortable," He said and I nodded. We both walked through the hallway

"I'm planning to ditch again tomorrow , school sucks" Jaden said suddenly

"I can't, my grades aren't that good"

"It's okay. I'm not asking you to company me" He chuckled

"I have English."

"I have Geography." He said and our class were side by side

"You should go." I gestured him

"See you later on?" He asked and I nodded smiling. I got into the class and I got a glare from a few girls. Jaden is one of the most handsome guy and he had a seriously relationship with Emma but they ended up badly.

"She must have cast a spell on Jaden." Someone said loudly as I sat on my seat

"She likes Ethan but flirts with Jaden."

"She must have cast a spell on Jaden or else Jaden won't talk to her. They have a different level remember?" People always talks, I just ignore them anyway

The school is not interesting like usual but I pay attention to every class until it's lunch. Since I don't have any friends here so I decided to read a novel outside on the bleachers

"Alone again?" I jumped a bit when Jaden show up

"You scared me" I said

"Sorry" He sat beside me and threw a sandwich to my lap

"For you, I was looking for you but you're here"

"Why are you looking for me?" I asked

"We're friends right? Besides, I like hanging out with you more than with them. I can be myself" He said as he leaned to the tree

"It's better to be yourself than be someone else to fit yourself in with them"

"Yeah but what can I say? I need them to get into the basketball team. It's my dream"

"You know you should go for it. Prove your parents that you can be a basketball player. It's not too late"

"Not that easy Kimmy, I wish I can show that"

"Apply secretly to a sports school or academy and just prove yourself. I know you can- oh!" I suddenly remembered something

"What?"

"Do you have a video of you playing basketball?" I asked

"For what?"

"Can you just make one and send it to me?" I said and he raised his eyebrows

"Huh?"

"Just trust me, let me help you" I smiled

"I'm okay. I can-"

"Just trust me, I'm your friend right?" I asked and he chuckled

"I'll send it to you later" He gave in

"So what are you reading?" He asked

"Just a-"

"Jaden!" We both turned to see Ethan walking towards us

"What?"

"The coach called us for an emergency meeting" He said and he looked at me in disgust

"Okay" Jaden got up and he turned to me

"See you later Kim" He smiled and walked away with Ethan. I looked at Ethan's back view and just found it sexy

"Get in your sense Kimberly!" I said to myself and sighed. I'm back reading my book and ate the sandwich that Jaden gave me

After that I have Art class which I love so much. The school went pretty slow and I'm so glad that it's time to go home. Oh yeah I can't go home cause I need to study with Ethan

I smiled weirdly just to think that I'm going to study with Ethan. I can't believe that I will sit with him for hours studying together

I walked to the cafeteria and I saw Ethan already sit on the corner of the cafeteria playing with his phone. I walked towards him and he looked up to me. He gestured me to sit

"What did you do until Jaden hung out with you?" He asked as he crossed his arms in front his chest

"Nothing"

"So stupid, what do you want to study today?"

"Biology" We both opened up our biology book. He asked what chapter that I don't understand and I picked the plants and bacteria chapter. He started explaining but my eyes and heart were beating for him. I couldn't focus and all I did was look at his face. I don't know what he's talking about a bit. He's a pure distrac-

"Understand?" He asked and I looked at him blankly

"You're really stupid huh?" He asked in a cold tone

"Sorry"

"I'll explain it once again after that you repeat what I explain okay?" He said

"I-"

"Listen carefully and repeat after me. Argh!" He groaned and sighed big time

"Sorry" I apologized one more time

"I feel like I'm teaching a 3 years old girl" He said annoy

"Sorry"

"Focus stupid" He said glaring and I nodded. He started explaining again and I listened to him even though sometimes my mind changed into his face

"Get it?" He asked and shit!

"I- I-" He's looking at me angrily

"How do you study at home?" He asked with a give up tone

"By drawings?" I said and he looked at me like I grow 2 heads

"Drawings?"

"Like brandstorming" I said and he looked at me annoy

"Are you really that stupid huh?"

"Sorry. I have a really bad brain" I said looking down

"I don't know why you're so dumb but let's try with drawing" He said and I can't believe that he's being so patient even though he talked to me with a cold tone a few times. I'm so happy to see him this close and even spend time with him. It's like a dream and I can't help but smile like an idiot.
