Louise

"Ryker, do you already read the contract that your father made regarding your marriage?"

I turned right away to face my father.

If Ryker and I had met in another circumstances, maybe he and me had a chance.

Ryker would have answered my dad.

"I think so, but not all of the content," sighing. Now they are talking like I do agree to it.

"Have you read the page about how in order for you two to marry each other and get the inheritance, you need to fall in love with each other?"

Me and Ryker shout together "What!"

"Dad, you know that would never occur!" I quickly yell.

"We don't have to fall for each other for us to get that damn money unless we really want to." Ryker said.

"Are you amused by this? Our lives were on the line, Ryker." "Unbelievable" I said, rolling my eyes.

"However, as soon as the two of you sign the contract, a member of your father's alliance will begin an immediate investigation into you. He'll send a person who was listed in the contract. Ryker, your father and even your brother are both dead, but your father previously planned this and paid for this union to take place years ago.

I pause to consider what I want to say. But when Ryker started speaking, my eyes became wider.

"Well perhaps we might put our acting talents to good use."

Ryker replied as I sat in my chair with my back flat on the seat. Right babe?" He said and wink. (As he did that, I almost fell off the couch.

I return to being irritated as he grinned at me.

"If that's so and you are serious about your plan, let's make this wedding perfect." she said.

Dad said with a smile on his face.

"I'd like to remind you, that I'm not still okay with all of this scrap!" I say it in a groggy voice and get out of my chair.

"Baby, don't be so intransigent.

The life of every employee of our organization are now in your hands. Always keep that in mind."

Ryker is right but still.

"What is your major explanation for not approving, Louise? due to your feeling for another someone? That person makes a mess of you and betrays you, right?" My father told me to

"Think about it,"

Kian and our relationship, which was abruptly ended, come to mind once more. Tears are streaming from my eyes. I consider that as I take a look at

with such venom at my father.

"But I do not desire to wed a man I do not love. a great deal stranger."

I felt a weight in my chest after I pronounced that word.

I said that and turned around.

As I leave the room to seek some fresh air, my father doesn't say anything. This time, I'll try to stay closer. I was worried De Russo might run into me again.

I groan as I observe the guests who have left the party outside from the veranda. I breathe in the crisp air from above as someone takes my wrist and talks to me.

"Louise, wait! I apologize. Okay. Although I am aware that it is difficult for you, I want you to believe that I was also in suffering."

"I despise this!" I muttered and bowed.

Ryker replied,

"Yeah, I know it's visible. He dipped down and he scan my feet. I took my shoes off earlier when I tried to unwind while sitting on the sofa, so I was wearing nothing.

"Shit!" He inquired, "Where is your shoe?"

I just groan,

"Why did you make this difficult for me?" I utter.

"Why did we at least try it? "I comb my hair with such great frustration. He added after he asked. "Not for you nor for me, but for the company." she said.

Is that business more significant than my life? I chuckled and looked up at the sky.

"I didn't know what happiness was until today." I'm doing this action because I want to continue to experience this."

Ryker spoke too passionately.

"You will discover a lot about me in the future if you give us a chance. Why not give it a shot? Maybe I can help you forget the person your father is referring to, or at the at least, encourage you to smile again sincerly."

"I'm not sure. I am not prepared to get hitched. I still young, so I have a lot of goals. and getting married isn't on my list."

"Even though I'll be 25 shortly, I'm still not prepared. How strange is that?"

Instead of being mixed up, "Let's make a deal instead of getting confused with each other, babe. let's strike a deal.

"Stop calling me that way." "Way

"what?"

I sigh, "That babe thing Ryker.

I don't want to call that way."

"Ah. Is there a specific reason?" Ryker ask.

"Just don't want to, I say. So please stop asking."

"But I like you calling me that way."

But I'm not; "okay, babe;" "Ryker!"

"babe?"

"I hate you, aarrggh!"

She became angrier as Ryker's laughter grew louder...

"So are we good now?" Ryker extends a hand. I reach it.

Ryker's hand feels like a hard rock in my grasp as we shake hands to seal the agreement. Despite having perfect skin, he was obviously working very hard. What type of laborious labour does he put himself through just to get hands like that? I wonder.

"Hey Louise! What's up?"

When he called, he abruptly snapped me back to reality.

I say, "I'm OK." with a smile.

"So I'm going to see you again." I suppose we have to get together frequently from now on, don't we? Just to get to know one another before we get married, you know.

I wondered whether he wouldn't swiftly succeed his father since if that were the case, we would be in each other's company constantly.

"How about we go out tomorrow?" He claimed that all he did was "He said I just go out and wander around like a friend,"

Before responding to him, I give him a nice smile. "Why not?"

I might make a few purchases in the mall."

"Okay, see you tomorrow then."

We say it together, so we laugh.

We was on my way back to the room where my father had left. When the door suddenly burst open, we were both peering over it.

"Are you still alive?" The man with the brown hair spoke loudly, almost making me jump in shock.

"Hello, baby Ryker," the man with the long hair remarked. People shout the way the man Ryker called like a gay man.

"It's not suitable to you, Jonah." Says Ryker to the man.

The only girl approached us and said, "You look OK now, Ry," before moving in close and giving Ryker a brief kiss.

I looked at Ryker right away since I was so startled.

"My friends, hmm. They are merely my friends only." Ryker remarked with a smile.

He waited for my response, but I had already turned to look at the two guys in the rear. Kian?

"Guys, meet Louise, my fiance." Ryker declared

What? I ask myself. One of Ryker's friends was Kian.

"I thought you were still mourning."the other man asked.

"You only went missing for a few weeks to get some fresh air, but now you're engaged. The tall, hairy man enquired.

Why not? Is it impossible to see me as a married man. Before my dad passed away? He had already made plans for our wedding. Louise was chosen by my dad. Yet the moment we first met, we fell in love quickly. You understand, just like a thunderclap. Like a boom. I know that all he said was a lie. However I just needed to go with the flow.

"You've got to be kidding me, right?" Ryker friend utter.

"I'm not asking you to believe it, you fuckers," Ryker said. The other man added.

"OK, dude, let's celebrate if that's the case."

I stare at Ryker but lack the confidence to be with Kian just now.

"I got to go Ryker. Maybe I will go along with your friends next time."

I crept up behind him and kissed him. He was astounded that he was immobile and that his friends were moving around the balcony one by one, saying various lines as they did so.

"I'm going to the kitchen,"

"I'm going to get something to eat."

"I arranged the table."

so forth...

It's possible that we've already begun acting and I kissed him because of this. In addition, Kian was standing there staring at me before leaving, and I didn't want to give the impression that I still hadn't moved on from him.
