"Kidnapped"

(NEXT DAY)

"Jenna, today's customer rush is less than usual right! "Emilia asked Jenna to confirm.

"Yeah right, but look! The guy whom you titled as darky guy is here again." Jenna said, pointing towards the door from where that mystery guy was entering.

Emilia rapidly put her finger down before he could notice.

He has started to come here regularly, "No!" Jenna spoke her thoughts aloud.

"Leave! That's not our concern. Just go and take his order! " Emilia instructed Jenna, not bothering his presence.

"Hm, okay," Jenna replied and rushed to him.

"Welcome, Sir! What would you like to have Jenna ask, smiling?"

"Did I call you?" He questioned with a serious look and Jenna got puzzled.

She shook her head in "No".

"So, go back and send her to take my order, otherwise you'll face the consequences!" He chewed on his words.

His words were enough to startle Jenna.

"Okay...s...sir," Jenna replied with difficulty and rushed to Emilia at an abnormal speed.

"Geez, that guy is demanding," Jenna said, making bad facial expressions.

"So, what does he want?" Emilia asked not paying attention to her unusual behavior.

"You," Jenna replied.

"What!!" Emilia asked dumbfounded.

"I mean, he asked me to send you to take his order!"Jenna explained.

"Huh? Disgusting!" Emilia whined.

Then controlling her bursting anger she walked to that "darky guy".

"Yes, sir??" Emilia asked, pressing down her anger.

"Bring me my coffee!" He ordered not moving his dark gaze from her.

"Please, be more specific, Sir! Which kind of? "She asked not caring even a bit about his devilish aura.

"Don't you remember me!" His voice echoed with scorn.

"Sorry, Sir! Every day many people visit here. I can't remember them all!" She replied unbrotherly.

"Hm," he sighed as his face grew darker in shades.

"By the way, what's your name, little girl? "He questioned.

"Excuse me, sir?! "She looked at him bewildered.

"Excused! Now, your name!" Came his response.

She gave him a pissed look as she uttered her name.

"Emilia."

"Emilia...hm" he mumbled her name between his tempting looking lips.

"So, Emilia dear, you will regret this one for not remembering me!" He chuckled in the dark and stood up.

He was literally towering over her.

His hand reached out to touch her cheek but before it could she jerked it away.

"Keep your limits, sir! " She chewed her words because this darky guy was pissing her off to its extinct.

"Should I or not? That's for me to decide, little one! You should try to be more obedient lest you suffer loss!" His tone was threatening.

"I don't need to show my obedience to any street hooligan!! " She fired back.

Amusement danced in that darky guy's eyes.

"Play carefully, Emi...lia! It can cost you much more than you think!" He warned her.

If there had been someone else in the place of Emilia, he would've been on the floor by now, soulless!

But Rayven was himself astonished at the fact that he was putting up with the little sassy attitude of this little one!

He stared at her for some moments as if admiring her at this act of bravery.

"You- "he stopped even though he wanted to say a lot.

"Anyway, see ya," he said and then walked out of the café with his guards following him.

"OH GOSH, h-....he's just damn annoying!!! "She whined, staring at the entrance from where he left.

"Leave him! It's time to go back home! I'm leaving. "Jenna reminded her as she patted her back.

"Hm, bye. See you tomorrow." Emilia tried to smile.

"Bye." Jenna replied and left.

(AT HOME)

"I'm home-" some loud voices interrupted her sentence.

"Now what!" Pissed, she walked closer to the voices.

"You're the cause of all these conditions!" Emilia heard her mother saying to her father.

"Just shut up you bloody woman. You just worship money!!! " Replied his father.

"Look who is saying! " Her mother taunted with sarcasm.

"Unlike you I don't leech off my daughter's money, you filthy leech!! "Her father yelled in anger.

"Yeah, yeah! That's why you were going through her wallet four days ago!" \ Emilia's mother laughed at her father.

"That...that because..." Emilia's father got puzzled.

Poor Emilia was listening to all this in disbelief while standing in the half-opened door.

"Because of what, you stealer-"

"Shut up!! Just shut up!!! You both!" Emilia yelled as she lost control this time.

Both her father and mother looked at her in astonishment.

"You guys made my life turn into a living hell!!!"

"Have you...ever thought about my feelings? Have you ever thought about what I needed? All you both care about is money! Never mind! If you both had provided me love, back then, the job I am doing would be filled with happiness and care instead of misery!"

Emilia felt a knot of tears building up in her throat.

"I craved love and what you both gave me! " Anxiety, stress, complexes, loneliness, depression, and what not! Hot tears started to roll down her cheeks.

She scanned the faces of her parents to find any sign of sympathy but they looked more worried about the source of their money instead of their daughter's name.

She laughed miserably in disbelief.

"I think our daughter has gone mad." both of her parents exchange this look.

Then Emilia made a serious face and said, "I'm leaving this house tomorrow! Because I can't survive her anymore!!!" Then she walked out of their room and rushed to hers before any of her parents could even respond.

She shut the door of her room with a bang.

With bursting emotions, she walked towards the bed and let her body fall on it.

"It's not fair to me! It wasn't me who asked them to bring me into this world." Her thoughts were overflowing due to the stress she handled today.

"I don't want to spend my life in this. freaking hell! What should I do?! "She thought while crying.

(NEXT MORNING)

She didn't have much to take out from home as her mother and father never let her keep her own money even. So, holding onto her shoulder bag, she came down the stairs. She found her mother standing at the edge of the staircase.

"Dear sorry." she tried to speak as soon she noticed Emilia coming down.

"Mom, leave! I've made my decision, so, don't try to stop me." she said, cutting her mother off in a firm tone.

"But sweet-"

"Mom, please!!! I'm leaving, so, no more discussion."

"Okay fine, you can leave! But don't forget to transfer money to my account every month okay?" Her mom changed her tone into a commanding one.

Emilia gave her mother an unbelievable look and then she felt she'd fall on the floor if she'd stand there a moment further. Then, she walked out of the house as soon as possible.

”I should stay at the café for some days or maybe I should ask Jenna if she'd let me crash at her place.“ Between these thoughts, she reached the café. But she felt the land shaking under her feet as she looked at the café.

"Oh my God!!! W...what h...happened to the café?” She questioned herself aloud in a teary tone.

The place which used to be a café was now presenting the scene of a destroyed abandoned place. Barely anything was in its real shape. Either it was the glass, furniture, or doors.

"I...don't know!!! S- someone totally destroyed it!" Jenna said, tearing up as she was standing just behind her.

In the corner, the shop owner was crying with his head in his hand.

"Sir, what happened here?" Emilia asked, gathering courage.

"You unlucky bitch! You're asking me what happened here! So, look! I'm destroyed by your cursedness. I don't know which unlucky hour it was I hired you!" The café owner whined.

His words were working like daggers in her heart.

"I...I can't stand here anymore. My head is going to burst open soon!" Emilia mumbled in a shocking state. Because her only source of income was gone now with this humiliation.

She walked to a nearby park with her legs wobbling and sat on the first bench she found.

"Why? Why always with me? Whyyyyyyyyy!!!" She started to cry.

"Why do all the bad things happen to me? "She cried out.

Suddenly, her phone rang.

She wiped her tears as they were making her vision blurry and tired to see who it was.

The number was unknown.

"Huh, whose number it is!" She thought, staring at the phone screen.

Then without giving a second thought to it, she picked up the call.

"Hello, Who's there? "She asked with a teary voice.

"You still don't remember me? "Someone's manly voice echoed in her ear.

"You!" She was going to give him a hard answer when she got it but stopped as she wasn't in that state.

"Please, don't tease me right now! I'm already so worried! " She pleaded.

"Aww, my little Missy is worried. I should do something about it!" He chirped.

She didn't reply to him. There was silence for a moment.

"Well, I'll meet you tonight!" He spoke.

"What? But why? How? Where?" She questioned.

"BYE... "He dropped the call without answering further.

"Hello- hello, hello, hey, he-.....huh! Go to hell!!!" She said irritated.

She doesn't know for how long she cried there but when she looked up it was dark already.

"Oh, it's 11: 00 pm already! I should go back home." She subconsciously said when she looked at the time.

She got up and began to walk, not remembering that she had made the decision to not go home. She was walking through a dark alley and felt that someone was chasing after her! She was confident that there was more than one.

She looked behind but found no one there!

So, she kept on walking.

Suddenly someone put a handkerchief dipped in chlorophyll over her mouth and she fainted as she tried to breathe.
