Jealousy

/-Riley-/

I scoff. She doesnt like me. Who cares if she doesn't?

I finish up my bananas and a maid walks to me with a towel. She bows and humbly requests to wipe my hands.

I feel like a queen as she wipes my hands.

"What's your name?" I ask.

"Names aren't important here ma'am, just numbers. I'm 26" she replies.

"Wow. Nice to meet you 26. I'm 30" i say and she smiles.

"So the lady with the pretty coat, who's she?" I ask.

"I'm sorry. I didn't see her. May i show you to your room?" She asks politely and i nod.

I follow her up the stairs admiring every inch of the house. She leads me to a set of double doors and push them open.

My jaw drops. I try not to scream. The room is magnificent especially the bed. It's so big.

I grin widely. He stuffed my room with lots of toys and filled my bed with teddy bears.

I know it's extremely childish but it's just the way I like it. I wonder how he knew I loved living like a child.

Did I mention my room's pink? I don't wanna go home ever. I jump on my bed and giggle. It's so soft. I video call my friends immediately.

"Anyone could have guessed that. You practically dress like you live in a dollhouse" Tess says.

"I feel insulted. Why can't you see it the way Jamie does?" I pout.

"I think i forgot the most important advice" he says itching his head. I frown.

"What advice?".

"Grow up. No one's gonna take you seriously if you're living like a doll. Act like your age sometimes. He just met you and he figured out you're a real life Barbie, really?. Nice curtains though" he says and i chuckle.

"I get your points but this room is so pretty. It's like my dream room. I'll just enjoy it for a few days".

"Riley!!" They yell.

"Go away. I'm not leaving".

"What are you , five? Anyway, have you made any friends yet?" Jamie asks.

"No. I did make an enemy".

"Already? What's there to hate about you?" Jamie asks.

I shrug. How would I know? We just met and she started hating on me. I need to know who she is.

After showing my friends other parts of the house, they won't stop blabbering about how lucky i am. Maybe I am.

After ending the call, I lie back on the bed staring at the ceiling. It's decorated with stars and it feels like I'm staring at the sky.

The door opens and merely the perfume gets me off the bed. I wear an expressionless face as he approaches me with a frown.

His eyes sweep the room in distaste.

"There's a reason we have a door" i state.

"What's this? I warned him not to make it too girly. It's like I'm fuckin swimming in pink" he groans taking out his phone.

"What'd you think you're doing?" I ask snatching his phone.

"Calling the fucker to take out this shit and return my money".

"You can't do that. It's my room so i say let it be".

He looks at me in disbelief then back at the room.

"You're shitting me, right?".

"No. I like the dolls. Everything is just perfect" I smile.

"God. This is not happening. Are you fuckin two? Even my baby sister don't sleep in a room like this" he groans. He takes another look at the room and his lips poise in a grimace.

He's adorable. I giggle within as frustration rubs on his face.

"You realise this is my room too" he mutters.

"Looks like one of us has to go and I doubt it'll be me" i grin.

"Whatever. You can have the room" he scoffs and I watch him leave.

We sit for breakfast in the dinning.

The lady I met yesterday joined us too. She's wearing a red nightie and it looks damn sexy on her. Her blond hair's packed in a ponytail with losose strands grazing her forehead.

"Good morning" I greet but she ignores me. Dean stirs his coffee quietly.

I sip my coffee and spit it out almost immediately. She looks at me for the first time.

"It's too sugary" I say.

"I thought kids love sugar" she taunts and I glance at Dean who doesn't seem bothered.

I pick a spoon and hit him on the head.

"I said it's too sugary" I whine. He stands and pulls me along with him.

"How'd you like your coffee?" He asks. I smile.

"The coffee was fine. I just wanted to get your attention" I shrug. He smirks and steps closer. I push him back.

"Hey..stand back. Why are you coming so close to me?" I ask trying not to stutter.

He steps closer and lifts me off the floor. I want to yell at him to drop me but I remember what happened last time.

He drops me on the kitchen island and stands between my legs. He leans against me and wraps his hands round my waist. My heart beats rapidly as he stares at me.

"You have my attention. Go on, I'm listening" he says. My throat dries up.

What is wrong with you Riley? Push him off you!

I don't. Instead i watch him unwrap one of his arms and brush my face lightly. My hands trail up to his.

"Dean....."

She enters and he lets go of me immediately. She gives us a long stare before walking over to toast bread.

I notice hickeys on her neck and I have this sick feeling in my stomach.

There's no other male in this house that she could possibly summit herself to. That's if she doesn't stoop to have a guard ride her.

She walks out with her toast and i shift my gaze to Dean.

"Where did you sleep last night?" I ask. Something flashes in those eyes.

"One of the spare bedrooms" he says after much hesitation.

"Alone?" I ask. He remains quiet for a while.

"No".

"It's her right?" I ask. For some reason I feel betrayed.

"Why does it bother you?" He snaps. I jump down from the island.

"You're right. It doesn't bother me" i say walking away.
